Had the 2 course set meal (starter and main) both were delicious and left feeling absolutely stuffed. Lovely atmosphere.
I have dined at this wonderfully unique establishment twice. Each time they had a different menu of very special dishes and both times we were met with very friendly staff.
Highly recommend this place for a quiet romantic dinner or a group meal.
That's if you don't mind paying a little bit extra. I think my last bill for just me was £30 ish.
Will definitely go back soon.
The food was sublime! Great menu with local meat and fresh fish/seafood of the day. Limited options for vegetarians, however. Excellent choice of wines both by the glass & by the bottle.
Service was friendly, although when we first arrived it was a little slow as the restaurant was full. Really there should have been a 3rd waiter for the number of tables.
Pricey (for two people, two courses plus wine was £100 excluding service), but absolutely worth it.
Excellent fancy food! Went for lunch and got a great two course lunch deal. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was very well presented and delicious. Would definitely recommend and will try again for dinner some time!
Been to Adelphi before and it was lovely. I was told it was under new management and this was part of a food festival in Aberdeen. I think they underestimated the load as it was a very poor experience. Staff were disengaged, not offering drinks, handing menus from over awkward positions, not attentive, etc. quite a lot of the food was burnt, a few items weren't actually what was on the menu (the soup had changed, fries were wrong, I forget there was more). The waiting staff could easily be forgiven they were clearly dealing with an unusually busy night, but simple things like serving burnt burger buns shouldn't ever have happened. One of the puddings was completely burnt. Had I not been before this would have been a one star and never to be tried again.
Dined here on Sat night with a Fab food Friday voucher. The service and food was fantastic so too was the wine. We will return and pay full whack next time as it was so good. Huge group from abroad had just arrived so service might have struggled later on but the staff were so good I doubt it, a great experience. Courtyard next.
