Chinease curry and fried rice mild. Absolutely lovely and packed with chicken and onions. Good size portions very fresh chicken freshly made. Sauce was lovely too. Will defo buy again.
Absolutely DISHONEST place with horrific food!
Dishonesty part: We ordered 4 small dishes and waiter asked 19.90 for the bill so we paid without thinking. When I looked closely at it it cost 15.30 on the menu and there was a note saying they increase the price so add 50p to each dish. Makes sense until here.
He was showing me a receipt to 17.30 and I asked him but you asked 19.90 and then he was trying to explain to me while showing the same receipt. There were 2 other old people besides us who were also confused. After that angrily he said you need a receipt, so he made a random one with random prices on it. Anyone can go and check the menu and compare the prices on the bill (attached)
Horrific food: I ordered egg fried rice, chicken fried rice, Szechuan tofu and hot and sour soup. We had to throw everything except the rice (which was NOT FRIED rice). I ate the rice alone. The chicken was tasting acidic and close to rotten. The pork bits in hot and sour soup did not have any texture. I hope that was pork and nothing else.
If I had time in the city (I was travelling), I would have reported the incident to the police.
The food is absolutely fresh and delicious. superb, best Chinese I've ever had .
Staff are very friendly , service was excellent and delivery or pickup was really fast .
Over all , i had a fantastic experience.

Since it changed hands, it's unfortunately gone downhill. Plenty better further up Duke Street, take the time and take your money elsewhere. Shame, it used to be good.
The food arrived closer to the time it said on the app. The food had so much of salt in everything that I had ordered. I called up the restaurant to tell them the same, 4 different people came online and then finally when the chef came he didnot want to hear me out and screamed and said there is no manager here and that noone has ever said this before and put the phone in my face. I am extremely upset to see the standard of service. I will post the same on google maps as well for people to see, rest it all upto every indivisual.
Waited over 2 hours for my delivery yesterday and no one showed up. Called restaurant for an update almost 8 times but no one picked up. After like 3 hours, it said food was delivered and to enjoy ????. This was me attempting to try new things, never ever again.
Food was cold, rice under cooked, chips rock hard, called to complain and guy was really rude would advise to steer clear... worst chinese I have ever ordered majority went in the bin!
Ordered last night on my daughter account! What an amazing Chinese!! You guys are the best. Most delicious chinese I have had in such a long time. The chicken noodle and chicken sweetcorn soup were very tasty unlike most Chinese takeaways which taste like chicken stock cubes and water. The chicken chow mein was such a generous size and was delicious! The chicken curry was fantastic and the egg fried rice actually had egg in it which I love! The salt and chilli chips are also to die for!! I will definitely be back.
