Had my parents 60th diamond wedding anniversary here. Was an amazing day with an absolutely beautiful afternoon tea. All our family and friends were raving about the food and hospitality. The management and staff couldn't do enough for us. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Friendly place with good food, and great staff. We had afternoon tea which we really enjoyed. Frank served us today and was very efficient and helpful.
What a beautiful find, just off the motorway but feels like you’re in the deep countryside! Food exceptional, cakes awesome, views incredible! Family run, expect a warm welcome ❤️
This cafe is usually booked all the time however one afternoon we swung by to see if we could get in and it was quiet.The waitress said we had just missed the biz.
My mum is disabled with a walker so I made sure a table was available before l left the car.
We were only having coffee but mum had a raspberry tart made especially for her with real fruit which she said was delicious.
The menu for main meals is quite small but sounds lovely. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.Our window looked over a balcony which has tables in the summer overlooking Johnstone Loch which is a lovely view.
This is a wooden building with a country feeling in Gartcosh.We enjoyed our visit.
Lovely setting, great staff, superb food and always a warm welcome for our two dogs, Wallace and Gus.
All the food here is good but the haggis with plum chutney on sourdough toast is AMAZING!
Highly recommended and reasonably priced too. Soup and sandwich deals are excellent and the breakfast options are worthy of further investigation!
My sisters booked this fabulous tea house for our lunch to get together as I was up in Scotland to see them. As we arrived we all received a lovely warm welcome. Got our table near a great log burner. The place was so lovely inside and spotless throughout. We had the full Afternoon tea. We started with delicious homemade lentil soup . Followed by our choice of sandwiches. A great selection. Yummy bloomer bread. Followed by a choice of cake and scones with clotted cream & jams with tea. We all agreed the food was exceptional. Extremely tasty and very delicious. Denise our server we cannot thank her enough as her service was just superb. The place was extremely busy and she handled this with such professionalism and ease. So a huge thank you to Denise and her great team for such a beautiful lunch in such a fantastic setting. You truly must visit this beautiful place . Thank you all for a very enjoyable afternoon.
Love this wee gem! Really busy which is always a good sign! They managed to squeeze us in even though we didn’t book. They have great sandwich options and the afternoon was gorgeous! Only real negative was that there were no views over the loch when you were eating.
Highly recommend the toasties and the afternoon tea for one!
