Tom came over yesterday to remove and refit a pair of front road coil springs to my wife's mini , the service we received from Tom was absolutely amazing from the time I picked up the phone to quote the job till the moment the job was done , even help to reset a brake warning light after checking the condition of the brakes, the light had come on after going through some flood water , I will 100% be asking Tom to do any further jobs to my wife's and my cars in the future, and I will definitely highly recommend him to friends and family. Tom thank you very much for the professional service and amazing communication

Tom did a clutch slave cylinder and brake bleed for me on my Alfa 156. Top work as always and a really nice guy too. 100% recommend him if you can't get your car to a garage, or if you need some work doing and would like him to visit you at home. Cheers Tom ????

Recently used TB autos for a new clutch kit to be fitted on my car. Tom was very helpful and did the work to a very high standard! Had a cam belt kit fitted to my car a few weeks ago by another company and they didn't put the cam belt cover back on properly I asked tom if he could have a look at it and put it on properly. Whilst he was there he made me aware that the cam belt was incorrectly fitted and there was also a bent sensor. My engine could have blown at any moment due to the previous mechanic and I would have never known if it wasn't for Tom, he removed the old (cheap) cam belt kit and fitted a premium one which worked out cheaper than the last kit. My only regret is that I didn't go to TB autos in the first place! Lovely guy and saved me hundreds of pounds in the process, will highly recommend Tom and will be using his services again in the future!!

Tom has been an absolute godsend to me recently. I contacted him initially to see if he could mend a broken window regulator on one of my cherished VW Beetles, a 2002 model. The window was halfway down and stuck. Before I found Tom other mechanics were either so busy it would have taken ages or simply were not interested. He replied to my text quickly and made me feel relieved when he said he could do the job. He came back with a quote and bizarrely I was out in my other Beetle (a 2016 model) at the time which suddenly displayed the engine management light ! I accepted his quote and asked him if he could help with the second issue. He came next day with a diagnostic tool and whilst that was in process made the window on the older Beetle close up so I could at least still drive the car until he had the part and could fix it. Diagnostics on newer Beetle showed it need a new sensor which he quickly ordered and fitted and on same visit mended the window on the older car. He test drove the newer car and all was fine with sensor but came back and said the suspension coil on a front wheel was broken ! I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry ! He reassured me it would be ok and could fix it. I also asked his advice about a new cambelt and water pump for the older car and he researched model specifics and advised it was due. So as I write this review he has been today and replaced 2 front suspension coils, done the cambelt and water pump change and he also serviced my mum’s Mercedes. I trust this young man so thought I would get him to do that as well whilst here ! Tom is a knowledgeable and talented mechanic. He is polite, patient and helpful. His prices are so reasonable too. Nothing is too much bother and he was happy to help me with my questions about the repairs and engine and future management. I feel so lucky I now have a mechanic to keep these older cars on the road. If you need help contact him. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful guy.10/10

Tom came out after being recommended by another mobile mechanic. Timing belt on my car had completely gone. Tom came a took engine apart, cylinder head needed re skimming & timing belt changed.

Thought everything was done ok, however car failed MOT couple of days later. Contacted Tom who came back out, said something wasn't quite aligned.

Had to call Tom out again as oil was leaking- he came took engine apart again & resealed

Had a few jobs carried out on my MK2 focus RS from leaking seals on the engine to boost leaks.

Also had rear suspension fitted today didn't take long at all and will always go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy.

100% recommend and doesn't charge anywhere near as most mechanics.

Tom checked my car before I even bought it to ensure it was all OK which was fab. Then did my first service which was quick and easy. Made everything very easy for a first time car owner! 10/10 service.
