Used to be a really nice chippy not anymore. Large chips was definitely not a large portion you used to get. Large gravy was half the size. Skimping on portion sizes but charging higher prices. Chips was also like left overs. Will not be visiting again.

I think you need to take a look at the review's again because there is plenty with similar comments. If this is your standard’s what is shown in the picture then you won’t see the problem.

Best chippy! And great atmosphere.
Just been in for the first time in over a year and what a change. The fish was fresh, the batter was golden and crispy (no soggy bits), the chips were also freshly cooked. The fried battered halloumi was out of this world.
The staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely going back to try all the other things they had on display.
Used to come here but I’ve just come here and found it is under new management. Amazing service and the food is top quality. Will definitely be coming here more often! The fish and chips is amazing ????????
Had an absolutely delicious meal from here. It was busy but they were quick to get through the queue. Really friendly staff too so will definitely be coming back again.
Awful. Sausage was cremated and inedible - the worst I have ever seen. Phoned them and apparently that’s how they cook it????????♀️ as for the fish? Spent about 10 minutes trying to find it within the mass about of batter. Never again
I got fish chips last night the fish was nice and fresh, the chips are a perfect amount for the price. Service was great, very friendly, will definitely be back again
i had kebab with nan bread, sausage and chips with gravy today, it was delicious great portion size and great service will definitely be going again.
