I bought salt and pepper ribs and I was extremely disappointed. Some parts of the ribs were luke warm and other parts of the ribs were extremely cold. This meant that the food was not cooked properly before serving. This is very dangerous and a health and safety issue for the customer. They didn’t offer any compensation neither did they accept to give a refund. If you ever buy food from there, always open up your order and check it before you leave!
I hate the phrase but it is it what it is. British Chinese food but tasty. Usual suspects on the menu but again, good tasty food. Tough to get through at 5pm and a bit of a wait for delivery. But that's testament to how popular it is. Using it for 25 years so good for me. And far far better than the place next door.
I used to purchase here years back and the food was always nice so I was looking forward to my order today. I ordered sweet and sour chicken hong kong style with egg fried rice and I am appalled the chicken tasted old and stale like it was left and reheated. All the sweet and sour sauce was dried up. The egg fried rice saved the day it was nice. Overall, I am disappointed as I spent nearly £10 for food I couldn’t eat.
I was well impressed with this place.
The staff here are so friendly it was so refreshing. I found the lady behind the counter to be quite charming.
Food is delicious! I was recommended by all the nurses at kings college hospital that this is the place to order from if you want a chinese.
Needless to say I was not disappointed!☺
Will update stars when I return. All I've had so far is a simple beef fried rice and it's definitely better than some of the competition, the beef was actually well cooked, the rice was full of flavor and the chillies they use are really hot if you like a nice kick. Cash only but this place is cheap in my opinion. Definitely coming back to buy more...
House prep chow mein is awesome. Fried fried is authentic and the chicken curry and rice in one tub is excellent
I got food poisoning from the salt and pepper chicken wings, I will be reporting this to the food standards agency!
Been eating her for many year and the food has always been consistent.
