Don't let the simple exterior fool you - this little bakery makes the best stuff in the village.
We walked in just as a fresh batch of pasties came out of the oven and the smell was absolutely incredible. I stood and watched as the next batch were rolled out, filled and expertly crimped in record time before going in the oven to feed the next batch of ravenous customers - it was quite hypnotic!
And those pasties...wow! A pastry that's the ideal blend of short and moist combined with a perfectly seasoned filling - everything a pasty should be.
If you're visiting Polperro do yourself a favour and pop in for a pasty (and anything else you see on the shelf) - you won't regret it.
Whilst staying in Polperro we were awoken by an amazing smell first thing in the morning. We later found out it was the pasties being cooked.
Needless to say that we had to try them for lunch and they were amazing! Best Pasty I have had in years!
The brownies were also lovely.
Visited again today 16/05/24 and bought a variety of cakes and pies, what ever you buy in this fantastic bakery you will not be disappointed, great prices, pies/quiches and cakes, you can't fault them, great service great products.

Stunning little pastie shop. All freshly made and the best pastie I've had around Looe and Polperro. Apple turnover was lovely too.
The £2 sausage roll is a stunner.
Popped in today just before they were closing. Dave, the owner chucked a couple of extras in for free which was really kind.
The cheese and onion pasties, steak pie and rock cake were all absolutely delicious and kept us going on our hike back to Looe.
The worst Pasty I ate in Cornwall, infact, probably ever. Also the rudest man I met in Cornwall. I wanted to support a local independent shop rather than a shop from a Cornish pasty chain but truly wish I hadn’t bothered & lined his pockets.
Hands down the best pasties we've ever tried, plus lovely service.
