Pleasant food. Fun atmosphere. Bar was a reasonable price. Most of the meze was great. I had fish main and loved it. Those that had the lamb/beef/chicken main thought it was a bit "processed".
Delicious food and friendly service. Many of the staff have been there for over 20 years so really know their stuff. The dishes here are the best I have tasted, I have tried them else where (including in Cyprus) and they don't come anywhere near.
My review is based on the hotel side of the Tarsus as the restaurant side was faultless and very tasty and in generous portions cooked by the very passionate owners and I would give that a full 5* review.
So to the hotel side of this review, The hotel was blind booked by my company for training at nearby business so upon arrival it looks a bit Bates motel from the outside we check in and are met by by a lovely woman who is the owners wife and given our keys and directed to our rooms.
I entered the room and was taken back to the 80’s, the room is pretty dated but was very clean and tidy with a bathroom which had bath and shower option.
Now my gripe...........The walls are paper thin and I had a really early start the next day so I was unimpressed when 3 Eastern European’s bowled into the room next to me and decided to laugh like hyaena’s and talk loudly till midnight which in my room sounded like they were in the room with me!.
Breakfast in the morning again was faultless and was again in a generous portion with a good selection.
So for me this place needs soundproofing in the rooms and a good update in the rooms.
I would definitely visit the restaurant again but would definitely not stay here again.
Really nice food. Not a cheap place to go to but the food was tasty.
The outside of the restaurant/hotel could do with a bit of TLC. Also when people go out for a cigarette it blows through the restaurant which isn't pleasant.

The staff at the restaurant were attentive and polite without being overbearing. The menu had good variety of both Greek and English food. Only 4 stars as although the food was good it could have been fresher.
We stayed here a week ago, the room we stayed in isn't worth £75 a night more like £40 at a push! we didn't have a duvet cover on the bed, the breakfast was shocking, the bacon you could of snapped it in half! The court yard looks a mess and it smelt like sewage
Room old fashioned. No restaurant or bar open Sunday night. And again Monday. Outside needs attention. The whole outside needs a thorough clean. Breakfast was just about edible. They pre cook everything then warm it up in the microwave
Went for greek night last night.was lovely food but service wasnt good took 40 mins before we satdown amd another 30 before food came, whilst eating pudding i got pulled up by greek dancer to dance and came back and they took all our half eaten puddings ???? then went to bar to order drink the lady had bad customer service no smiles or anything !! Looked like she didnt want to be there . The greek dancer was a but stroppy to! He was a bit snappy.
