I have used this pharmacy for years. I moved away but I will still always have my prescriptions sent here. The staff are so lovely and helpful, and I will never go anywhere else
WORST CHEMIST. Our GP sent a prescription to Tanna’s by mistake, as it is not our local chemist. GP surgery then requested return of prescription to issue to our local pharmacy. This was not actioned by Tanna’s and so I called to ask them to do this. They refused because of ‘the work they have put into ordering this’ and told me it was ‘impossible’ to do on the system. My local pharmacy was baffled by this as it is standard procedure. I called back to ask again if they could do this so that I would not have to make a 40 minute round-trip to pick up and the owner screamed at me down the phone and said ‘fine I’ve released it, bye’ and hung up on me. When I went back to my local pharmacist they advised it had been cancelled on the system and I needed to go back to my GP to reorder. All this for a common medicine for my child, I have never experienced such a lack of patient care, spite and interest in money.
I have been coming to this pharmacy all my life with many ailments over the years. All the staff, and in particular Mrs Tanna has always given me such a warm welcome and helped me with all my worries and problems. I have always had complete faith in her advise and would never go anywhere else.
At this particular time, we should be so grateful and thankful to our frontline workers, especially pharmacists who often get forgotten about!
Tanna chemist always gives an excellent service - from the simplicity of completing the order and ease of filling out the consultation, to the quick dispatch and delivery, and even aftercare. They also take the time to give me advice and are always happy to help with any queries I have. I appreciate all their hard work, thank you :)
I have been coming to this pharmacy since I moved here 8 years ago, but I must say recently their service is quite appalling usually from the main lady who's customer service needs much improvement. I went into this chemist after my GP said I can get over the counter treatment of which she replied no you need a prescription. She then went on to say that only 1 of the treatments (the most expensive) can only be prescribed without a prescription. We are in a major pandemic and wasting dr's time to get a prescription for something that you can get over the counter is so silly where their time can be used for someone really in need. I went a few doors down and got the treatment I needed without a prescription and asked them if it was required - they said only in extreme cases and when symptoms do not go away. I think this lady needs to step up and help customers where they can avoid going into surgery for basic needs.

We have been using Tanna pharmacy for 40 years since we moved to the area and have always found their service impeccable and unfailingly polite. I do not understand the poor reviews and do not recognise the description given of so-called rude staff - perhaps the reviewer has entered the review against the wrong pharmacy.
Small, Boutique, Friendly Pharmacy on Uxbridge Road - The staff are the reason, such nice people overall.
