Absolutely fantastic best curry we EVER HAD! ???? we ordered a chicken tikka masala and two chicken komas the chicken in them was exquisite and as fresh as the day it was born very soft not at all rank or chewy the rice was soft and really nice and fluffy, presentation was amazing, service fantastic Megan was amazing and couldn’t have done enough for us I’m giving this place 1000 out of 10 if I could add more than 5 stars then I would we DEFINITELY WILL BE RETURNING! Best curry that we ever had and a very pleasant and comfy place thank you Tandoori Kitchen for making us feel welcome and for the excellent service! ❤️
Visited Tandoori Kitchen this evening, part of the new pavilion down Trecco Bay. Wow! I was so impressed what a beautiful venue. The food was fresh and delicious the decor was great and Stephen and Dafydd our waiters were absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be returning, anyone can go by the way. I just live locally in Porthcawl, it isn’t restricted to just holiday makers.
Very mediocre. The curry was bland with not much spice. I think somebody forgot to add the/any chili. Don't misunderstand, I am not a person who boasts the amount of hot spice I need, but some flavour would have been nice. The fries of course were frozen, yet sadly the most acceptable part of the meal.
Having sat at the table, the service provided was annoying. The waiter was thoroughly annoying with no manners. From get go I was hearing "there you go mate, here you are mate, OK mate". Every 30 seconds I kept having this twerp addressing me as MATE.
I was never his "mate", he has never been my "mate!" As a mature person I expect to receive some respect from others, the same as I would give others. This person would not recognise manners if they were a sharp pair of scissors attached to his testicles singing I'm a sharp pair of scissors, and I'm I'm going to teach you some manners. I let this young man know how I felt about the idea of him being my mate, and the prospects of him ever becoming my mate. The price for the food was too expensive for what was being provided, and and the table staff were inexperienced, and had lack of training.
Bad food incomplete order.
Just ordered for collection. I got back to the caravan with it 1 nan bread missing and the byriani was the worst iv ever had. Basically tasted of nothing was just greasy rice with chicken that was pink inside and it came with 2 tubs of what I can only describe as stuff. One was white but we couldn't work out if it was mayo or yoghurt or a mixture of both. And then there was a brown watery one that didn't smell of anything or taste of anything and had the appearance of dish water with a layer of oil on top. We paid 42 pound for 2 tubs of greasy rice 1 cold nan and what appeared to be a small portion of oven chips. It is pouring of rain here we tryed to eat it it went in the bin kids ended up having beans on toast. U can't even complain or contact the restaurant without going there. Do not bother frome here have beans on toast instead and save urself 38quid
Came here last night with my family and the food was amazing i had the phall but must say although it was very tasty it needed more spice,i would highly reccomend a visit here ???? i read the reviews and was optimistic, everybody has diffrent tastes so dont be put off by bad reviews.
The service was great but the food was very poor and the best I can say is that it was just about edible. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Byriani. The Masala was watery and quite tasteless and the rice was all clumped together. The chicken was good but I’veo never had a tikka masala where the sauce didn’t stick to the meat. The biriyani again was tasteless and the rice was just mushy. The plates came cold which didn’t help. I definitely wouldn’t use again . The price as well was at least £4 more per curry than what we would usually pay so we was expecting a decent meal but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Overall the service came out a lot higher in score than the food itself.
Very unhappy with the meal. Starters were bland and onion bargies were really greesy. Curries were cold rice had lumps. They all had 4 small pieces of meat. Very disappointing. For afters we had banana fritters. The fritters were so greesy I could see it on them and couldn't eat it :(
Awful experience, waited an hour for our takeout order while witnessing chaos unfold people being given the wrong food and extremely long waiting times. Staff looked stressed and clueless. Finally got our order which was cold and tasted about as good as a microwave curry.
Customer service from the apologetic girl who also sorted us a refund because of the extreme wait was brilliant. Overall I'd avoid based upon the food alone.
