Would put 0 if possible. Was scheduled to have appointment in January was rescheduled 3 times for reasons unknown by the receptionist who each time was extremely off and rude. When having an appointment I have always been on time even though the dentist hasn't seen me on time and has on occasions been 25 minutes late seeing me. On this occasion I was 10 minutes late due to traffic in the High street and no parking available. I walked as fast as I could to the dentist and was out of breath when getting there to then be told he won't see me as I'm 10 minutes late. Receptionist extremely rude and tone was disgusting when I asked if I could have an appointment as soon as possible due to having previous appointments cancelled on there behalf, she said it won't be soon. Receptionist extremely rude ,and I told her to kiss my arse which not nice but what do they expect after everything they put you through from
moving appointments to later dates to being extremely rude on phone and to face. No understanding whatsoever but patients are expected to be understanding back when it comes to lateness? Full expect to be taken off the register and would encourage anyone else here to take themselves off. No wonder NHS dentistry is the way it is and people are being FORCED to go private. Absolute joke and shambles of a place how it still runs is beyond me,but then people are that desperate they have to come here and be succumbed to the attitude of the people working and running the place. AVOID
No people skills at all I called for my daughter who is in pain and I completely understand what the receptionist was telling me but I did not appreciate the attitude and rudeness. I asked to speak to a manager which at first she refused to do so but then agreed and a gentleman came to the phone and I started to explain the situation and he hung up on me. Will definitely NOT recommend this dental practice.
Rude and very unprofessional receptionist. From the amount of feedback on below reviews about her I'm surprised she is still there! Shame really as you cannot fault the dentists. She let's the team at this practice down.
The receptionist at this practice is disgraceful.
Rude and most unhelpful.
She was sat eating a sandwich as i approached the desk and dealt with me while chewing a mouthful of food.
I was told my appointment had been cancelled as the hygienist was now only private.I asked, why was i not informed. Her answer to this was there was a note on screen.Quite how i was supposed to be in possession of this information,i don't know.
She seemed to think it was alright i had travelled and had my time wasted for nothing.
Yes,i did tell her where she could place the practice because she was treating me as if i were to blame.
I have tolerated this person's ignorance on every visit i have made, but today proved too much.
I would like to say the rest of the staff are most pleasant.
Talking teeth, it is not saying a lot for you if this is the only person you can find to perform the task. She is the first impression for the public of your surgery.Very poor.
One star because you can't give none.
Absolutely disgusting company.
Due to them transitioning to private, one by one they have stricken patients off with no warning, blaming them for not turning up to an appointment (lie). This has happened multiple times with different people. A disgusting way to get rid of NHS patients. One woman went for a root canal, expecting to pay her NHS dental fee as usual. However was billed for around £700. No warning beforehand .
The utter stress they put that woman through, they should be ashamed.
Utter disgraceful way to treat people.
Although the staff were friendly, I had an emergency appointment because I was in agony, was given antibiotics and sent away. They said they had space and put me on their books. They arranged another appointment for me a few days later. I traveled 30 mins to get there to find out the dentist had left and all appointments were cancelled. The woman that answered the door said they had called me to let me know it was be canceled but I checked and recieved no phone call. I then rang up the next day to reschedule my appointment to then be told they have taken me off their books because I didn't turn up to my appointment (even though i did turn up and they cancelled it) I explained I did turn up and all appointments that day were cancelled (as that is what I was told by the receptionist but they didn't want to hear it, took me off their books and hung up.
I turned to them with a tooth problem, it hurt, Dr. Caroline Farrell did not help, not seeing the problem, although my tooth was not intact and was constantly hurting. there is a suggestion that they only need money... draw a conclusion.
Very friendly service, I was seen to the next day, Alex and his team were very keen to help out with my teeth, thank you
