Arrived here unannounced on a quiet Thursday night, was recommended by a friend. Server polite and attentive. Starters we had olives and cheesey garlic mushrooms, bf said mushrooms were amazing with proper cheese! Olives garlicky and spicy. Received complimentary garlic bread, bf left me 2 pieces we loved it! Mains both had hanging kebab, 1 lamb 1 chicken, both tender and succulent, doggy bagged a bit so I could eat all my chips cos they tasted amazing too! Very reasonably priced, all the above plus 2 large wines, and 3 bottles of peroni for £56. Will definitely be back!
A pretty poor experience at Nawabs this evening. The only saving grace was the food was actually quite nice.
A party of 9 - The staff taking drinks didn't seem to grasp everything we ordered so we had to ask multiple times. The service was slow. We were there for around 2hr 30 with very long gaps between courses (bearing in mind this was a quiet Sunday evening). Naans were missed out on the main course, only arriving after we had all finished our Currys.
After complaining, the lady behind the bar agreed for a 20% discount on the bill which we were content with given the poor service. After reviewing the bill though there were 7 extra drinks that we hadn't ordered, and 2 extra mains!
Was this to recoup the 20% hoping we didn't check, or an honest mistake? Either way it was pretty poor.
Food when it came was great.
Was in VIP area for my daughters birthday. Vibe in the place was great but we were left alone, order was wrong & heard sonene say don't worry about VIP on our way out.
One of the brothers was really good.
I'm not a footballer or anything but when we pay to be in the VIP area, I expect to be treated as a VIP.
we was eventually looked after because of the respectful brother & assured we would get looked after next time (seemed genuine)

Food good, service not so good. Got wife's meal order wrong and they replaced her main, but her rice, nan and my meal went a tad cold in the interim. Feel they should have cleared our table and started again. Other than that we had a good meal.
Lovely place and authentic food. Beautiful outdoor area great for little gathering in summer nights. Professional staff specially Kelly she was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Eaten here about a year ago had a delivery which was fine. Went to collect recently the lamb was tough and the chicken in the other dish wasn’t well flavoured.
Generally needs a spruce up to bring it back like it was when it opened. Repainting and getting a joiner in will sort it.
Used this place so many times and it was fantastic, would drive from Sheffield to get the food. Recently changed management and it has gone down hill rapidly, food is not as good, late food, sometimes if we ordered through just eat they would wait till delivery time and cancel the order with no explanation. A real shame cause it was the best around
So Nawabs has changed hands. The restaurant experience is not good. We waited an hour between the starter and the main course. Front of house relies on inexperienced staff who carry the can for the slow service although they try their best. It was a good restaurant but lacks a restaurant manager to look after the paying customers.
