After fitting new tyres couple of weeks ago, my steering wheel became crocked. Took the car to two well-known garages, both unable to sort it. After doing some Googling, I stumbled on Taffy's. One review caught my eye. I said I give them a go. Arrived without booking and asked for wheel alignment. Was told by one of the lads it would take one hour and 45 minutes waiting time. I asked myself one hour ? Other garage's do it in 10 minutes and mess it up. That one hour filled me with confidence. The lad said the car will be test driven and if any issues bring it back tomorrow. Left the car came back after 2 hours car was ready to collect. Straight away the steering felt lighter, the steering felt straight. Took to the motorway and guess what? STEERING WHEEL IS NOT CROCKED!!! And is tracking straight. Didn't get the mechanics name, but I want to say thank you.
Got there yesterday at 16:30 half an hour before it closed and was told they were closed come back tomorrow. No other customers about so he easily could have sorted out a puncture repair in 10 minutes. Was told to come back tomorrow. I went back today it was busy only to be told there would be a 45 minute wait. The amount of inconvenience this has put me to is immensely frustrating as today I had to be at my sons parents evening. I also had to finish work early today to get there today at 4pm and will have to work the time back tomorrow. Just absolutely fuming. After coming here for 20 years this has pushed me over the edge. I won’t be returning.
Great team, not your average tyre shop they have caused damage and rectified it by offering a repair and free of charge service. Other places wouldn’t even tell you that it was their fault and would just fob you off.
Very honest team and I would happily keep using their service ???????? I strongly recommend them.
Absolutely top lads! Needed my tyre changing urgently because I had to take a relative to a hospital appointment and they had it sorted in half an hour. Been using Taffy's regularly because they don't rip you off, just do the job that's required! If I could give them more then 5 stars I would. No hesitation in recommending them! Next time you need work done, give them a try, you won't be dissapointed!
Will definitely be coming back here to have my tyres fixed! Service was excellent and helpful. Was nearly ripped off at Halfords Autocentre in Urmston between £87 and £127 because they “couldn’t fix it” Taffy’s could!! And charge £14 and had it done in no time! Highly recommend for tyres ????
Rang and limped my car In today. They fitted me a part worn and I paid. What they didn’t know was today was a terrible day for me and they just made my day. Definitely recommend them. Great job.
