We had a fantastic stay, Nick was really helpful and accommodating especially when it came to our baby. A cot and sheet was provided in the family room and highchair with toddler cutlery provided at breakfast! We all slept really well and it was nice and clean. Breakfast was great! Couldn't fault anything.
An absolutely fabulous and unique place to stay with quirky little objects on display. Cosy with enhanced period features of the property. Nick the owner made our stay amazing and actually is the most hospital person I've ever known to run such a place. He went out of his way with everything even lit a fire to dry my soaking wet shoes and will dry or wash your clothes for you. If you want anything all you have to do is ask him. Provided tea and biscuits in the rooms and extra milk and toilet roll if needed. Breakfast was cooked by the host in the morning and offered you extra toast or tea if needed it. Parking is outside and the streets are windy and narrow. I would highly recommend if you would like to stay somewhere a bit different and be properly looked after.
Nick is the quintessential B&B host with a cheery welcome, offers of assistance up the mountainous stairs (in joke) and a clean, tidy and resplendent room at the top. Plenty of experience means that Nick has worked out what you need at the start, what supplies are required and how to make his house a temporary home for visitors. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Very much the outdoors type our host has a house full of memories from Mount Everest days, Africa, etc. A good price and we will be back to use TY Seren as a base for exploring this fascinating area. Cymru am Byth :-)
Nick is SO kind and thoughtful. Came here with my mum to climb Cadair Idris. He couldn’t have been more thoughtful to our needs, and he even gave my mum a cloth badge to congratulate her on the climb! How sweet. Beds are comfy, bedding is a good weight, bath was hot, breakfast was yummy. Thank you, Nick.
Quirky, relaxing, good veggie breakfast, host (who has climbed Everest) was so helpful and just couldn't do enough. Price was really good for time of year, Parking outside but move by 10 next day (big car park by bridge). Some early morning noise but nothing major.
Stayed one night here, Nick is an amazing host, so welcoming and friendly nothing seemed any trouble, great location and free parking just outside, breakfast was lovely and hot and lovely coffee as well, not instant which is a great touch. Was made to feel at home.
Great location, has it's own parking, very comfortable and all your needs have been predicted by this experienced hotelier and mountaineer. Very good value and breakfast was just right. Looking forward to a return visit to continue exploring this part of Cymru.
We’ve just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at Ty Seren and really wish we could have stayed longer! Sharon and Nick were the most perfect hosts and we felt truly welcome. ||We stayed in the spinning room which was a double room with an en-suite and included an adjoining room with a further two beds as we were staying as a family. Rooms are simple but very comfortable and have everything you will need. ||We’d highly recommend the full Welsh breakfast - it was delicious! ||If we’re ever in the area again we won’t hesitate to book again. Thank you Sharon and Nick! ||
