Omg loved the mega breakfast cost £10 worth it and a tea at £1.60 bit over priced but was OK will be recommending and going back
Food was ok but then I found a hair which put me off.
I handed the plate to the lady and said it was nice till I found a hair her reply was really I said yes and pointed at it.
I had no apology no remorse just I will let her know (being the lady cooking).
The hair is clearly not mine as I have none.
Will not be returning as they clearly do not care about their customers.
Always get a great breakfast. Big portions. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Gave my 2 dogs 5 sausages to share. They love the place. ????????
Lovely warm welcome, good service ,good food
I was debating whether to leave a comment as I don't want to harm small businesses but I would like them to make improvements.
Firstly - the mismatch furniture and sticky tables are a put off.
Secondly - the woman behind the counter who makes the coffee smells like dogs, cigarettes and has dirty fingernails.
Thirdly - prices are too high for this quality and cleanliness of this establishment.
I hope the owner reads this and makes changes so TJ's can be better.
We were out cycling and went to Stanton house the other weekend, but they were not serving food or much in the way of drinks due to a wedding. We managed to get a coffee there but it was a tiny vending cup size from a machine and was awful.
We looked for somewhere close on the map and found tj’s. They were going to close in 50 mins so we high-tailed it there and made it before they shut.
The nice lady behind the counter took our order and made us a nice late and mocha. We had breakfast baps and they were amazing - definitely hit the spot.
We’ll be going back at some point, the only issue is by the time we normally think about heading there when out and about they are closed. But we’ll make it there soon.
Recommended if you are hungry and passing by. The breakfast bap with black pudding, sausage and egg was amazing.
Called in here today after I saw a review on YouTube. My first impressions of entering TJ'S was that it reminded me of the old (now sadly long gone) Johnson's Cafe at Cowley. A true old fashioned Cafe from yesteryear. After perusing the menu decided to go for the Mega Breakfast at £7.90 It was an eyes bigger than the tummy moment! 3 sausages, 2 bacon rashers, 2 eggs, black pudding, beans, toast, saute potatoes and a mug of coffee. This was cooked fresh and arrived hot in under 10 minutes. Everything was well cooked and tasty. The sausages were fine if a little pastey but at this price point you cannot complain. As mentioned I bit off more than I could chew so to speak, this breakfast defeated me...... I left one half slice of toast. When ordering next time I come here (that's a definite) I will opt for hash browns as the generous amounts of saute potatoes were too much for me! Nice staff had a good banter with thier regulars and the place was clean. Parking is right outside, the only possible downside is when turning right into the premises from the Oxford direction. The curve of the road can lead to speeding trafic not having much time to pull up and a van nearly hit me from behind on arrival. If coming here in this direction, slow down and signal earlier than normal.
Great little Cafe!
I arrived hungry and left very full!

Came back here today for another breakfast. I had the Mega Breakfast as before but with hash browns instead of the saute potatoes. Absolutely fantastic meal! The bacon was especially good.
The staff were very friendly and polite.
I will be coming back to T J's Cafe and can whole heartedly recommend it for good honest tasty well cooked & presented food!
Greeted by the owner and establishment, clean, spacious environment and prices are right. Only quibble was black pudding overdone last visit.
