Been here a few time's now. Food as always been excellent. Call in this evening and can't believe the change. Everything was awful Young girl serving was all mixed up with orders. Fish was over cooked batter was rock-hard and greasy fish was very dry.
Chips were edible. Mushy peas were just a hard blob.
Asked for salt and vinegar but didn't get it.
Definitely won't be returning.
I would give no stars if i could.
Just been in to grab tea for the family whilst passing through the area, I have got to say the atmosphere was great, the morale of employees were at an all time high, and the food was unbelievably good. Would definitely recommend eating from here

Had fish and chips reasonably a good portion, but fish was more batter than fish , not much taste. Had a lot better.
Really disappointed in this chippy. As a Friday treat I ordered a lightly battered fish. Got home to discover It was thick in batter and soggy! Took the fish from the batter and was shocked!! the amount of fish was equivalent of one and a half fish fingers and very dry!! Bad enough when the staff are so miserable but to make the customers miserable with food of this quality is disgusting!

When we first moved to the villiage the food here was lovely but I am now finding their chips very mushy and tasting very oily. It maybe they now using a different oil to cook them with now but really doesn't make the chips taste nice. Also agree the workers Never seem to be happy or smiley which doesn't show good customer service.
