I absolutely love this local coffee shop! There has been a change in ownership and you can clearly tell the difference. The coffee is always superb, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It's become my go-to spot to eat and have a relaxing moment. Highly recommended!
We paid £57 for this, we waited a very long time for this, it was not designed well at all, it was very rushed and on top of that, we asked for blueberries however there were barley any inside the actual cake. This was a very important cake for us and they did not listen to what we wanted and the design was rushed. VERY DISAPPOINTED. We have given them 5 chances and every time we order they keep getting the order wrong. This is the last time we order from them.
Strongly recommended. You have to try their cakes. I bought a cake for my son’s birthday and every single person in the party asked for some contact details of “sweet N Savoury”.
Many people close to me, including myself, have been ordering cakes from here for the last few years. The quality of the service and food has consistently gone downhill for the last year.
This time last year, we were given a completely different cake than what we ordered. When this was brought up, we were told “if you don’t like it, don’t order” which is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and straight up rude. Will never be ordering from here again from a place that refuses to take any accountability.
Our requests have been constantly ignored, including:
-Providing us with cakes that are nothing like what we requested.
-Whenever we request fruit, they use about 2-3 of the requested fruit if any.
-The requests for jams or flavours have been consistently ignored. For example, request d strawberry jam on the inside and got a drop of jam on the top and nothing on the inside.
Our latest cake was rushed and poorly decorated. I wish I could blame it on the delivery process but it’s simply poorly decorated. Fantastic way to celebrate Christmas.
God forbid they make a mistake and you have the guts to address it. Expect to be ignored and to eat cake you never even wanted. Absolute hot mess.
The sweets are not of good quality. I bought a kilo of sweets. They are sour and moldy. They are not responsible
Each and every year we order atleast 3 cakes from Majchid and each and every year she gets the prefer wrong and refused to either apology or take accountability . Last year we ordered a berry cake with fruit inside , we received a vanilla cream cake . It was a birthday for 25/12 and of course weren't able to get a replacement . When I provided feedback she advised ' if you don't like my cakes do not order from me 'This year our cake looked like a 6 year old finished it and she forgot 80% of the fruit . My family and I won't be ordering again!!! Extremely disappointed . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Very friendly people, very cosy place, and very delicious food and drink. We love it here!
It's very good place to have coffee and spent time in peace. The ladies are very sweet and really love this place. Highly recommend
