So my husband goes along at 9pm for 2 potions of churros...to be told by the male server there closed, whilst standing making hot waffles..When said it says 9.30 on door and online they close the server says yes that's if you order online...so stood there at 9pm while he's cooking tells a paying customer there closed. Not really a good impression of the business for paying customers, but if we went on just eat we'd have got our order LOL.
Ordered crepe, waffle and ice cream ordered at around 8.30pm, 2 hours later with no apology customer service is terrible the waffle and crepe are stone cold, never again

Products are nice enough, wide selection of ice cream and desserts. Customer service is terrible and really lets the place down, I would not usually leave a bad review for a local business but there is really no care for customers. Last twice I have been in, the younger lad with glasses has not acknowledged me standing waiting to be served, has not said thank you or shown the slightest bit of customer service. As a guest I feel like a hinderance whenever I have come in. A few years ago pre covid the staff were pleasant, I use to visit a few times a month. I suggest more than a little bit of customer service training for the current staff. I will not be back in the near future.
My company of 6 adults was chased out of the door at what we thought was 15 minutes before closing.
Staff were none too polite.
We are not returning, sticking instead to Wetherspoons and Lucas.
Just got a 2 slices of cake, they are at least 3-4 days old. Plastic spoon couldn't even make a dent. Inedible. Absolute waste of money.
Turned up at 7.30pm and was greeted with "we close at 8.30pm". Chairs were on the tables already and they obviously didn't want to serve us. As we only wanted a coffee we thought an hour was enough time, we should have taken the hint! The lass served one of us while a boy stood ignoring the rest of us until asked if he was serving. One of the coffees was ridiculously strong and another had an unpleasant taste and smell so much so it couldn't be drunk. A shame as pre covid we used to meet up here frequently on Mondays but now we won't be back.
Scrummy ice cream but the staff are hopeless. Revisited today to see if improved but yet again come away with the wrong flavour. Could argue I should check before I leave but quite frankly your only job is to serve ice cream and you should be getting it right especially as there was only myself and my child in the shop at the time . No excuses.
Update, I’m clearly a glutton for punishment as I tried again. Last week got my hopes up as all went well but this week they couldn’t even be bothered to open the doors. Either 1 hr and 20 minutes late or 20 minutes late depending on the door time or website time. They can’t even be bothered to make sure their customers know when they are open. We were one of a dozen who slowly got fed up and left. When we drove past again they were still shut. I have no idea how they are still in business and the ice cream isn’t good enough to persevere with them. We’re at Lucas now, queuing up yes but the ice cream is great and the shop is open and can be counted on. Not surprised they’ve disabled new reviews on here I wouldn’t want to read them either. I’m glad I left a previous review I could add to
