I brought my two sons here to eat this evening. Hayley and the team made us feel extremely welcome. There is a good atmosphere and the pub was quite busy. The food was well prepared, cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Reasonable prices and a good find. Give it a go, and you won’t be disappointed. We will certainly be returning.
Recently been taken over by a wonderful new team who have breathed a new lease of life into this pub. Food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. Drinks are perfect. Well done Sid and team
Went in on a Saturday at 6pm. Just one young lady working behind bar who was run ragged with number of people waiting and gathered around bar.
One large group of males and females where in drink and swearing being quite obscene in what they saying who were very loud and intimidating.
We found a table to sit at, but there were plates that needed clearing. The lady behind bar wouldn't have been able to clear tables, serve drinks and deliver food. Needless to say we left our drinks and walked out and went elsewhere and had lovely food in nice environment. I'm guessing this was a one off unexpected large group of rowdy drunk people. But I won't be going back
Lovely place. The staff were great. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Can recommend the Wetherby Parmo and the Cumberland sausage and mash
Went for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Food cooked to perfection. Will definitely be eating here again
Met several friends for a social gathering on a sunday evening, it was stone cold empty.
While the service was good the decor, especially the seating needed throwing out and completely replacing, it was filthy and worn.
The place looks like it needs a complete revamp or it will stay empty.
Nice pub, came here for a lunch meeting, as they used to do great food.
Sadly they don't serve food anymore, so left hungry.
Friendly place though :)
Had a round. Children (13 and 9) played pool. Was seated directly opposite across pub so could see at all times. Bar maid made a point of coming down to say they need to be supervised. Awful women. Avoid this pub
