We had a really lovely meal here last night. The quality of food, service and restaurant itself were all wonderful.
We started with an antipasto platter that had lots of fresh meats, veg and cheese and it was presented beautifully. Then, I had the lobster ravioli which was AMAZING and my husband had the risotto fantasia which was also absolutely delicious. We then shared a tiramisu for dessert and...yum!
The service from start to finish was excellent and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant too. We would definitely recommend visiting here and can't wait to come back!
Staff here can give you full attention. The food is excellent and good quality for the lunch menu. I have seen people that have been off menu and the food looks amazing. Will book again for sure. A hidden gem.
Popped in here lunchtime Saturday, was fairly quiet, only us and one other party. Had the three course set menu which includes a glass of house wine; at £20 this is excellent value. Food was great, decent portion sizes, service was friendly. A hidden gem in Southend!
I had a wonderful lunch here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the risotto marinara, which was loaded with mussels, prawns and squid. My partner had the seabass, which was cooked to perfection and had a rich sauce. We shared a glass of prosecco, which complemented our dishes well. For dessert, we had the pineapple ice cream, which was light and refreshing. The restaurant has a cosy and rustic atmosphere, with a nice outdoor seating area with sea view. I would definitely recommend Il this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in Southend-on-Sea.

Lovely to celebrate our 35th wedding Anniversary here. The food was very enjoyable, & reasonably priced with a good selection for palate & pocket. The staff were friendly & helpful too, & there was a lovely sunset to go with the aptly named sunset bar!
