Small and cozy family pub, kids and dogs are also welcomed. They serve some amazing food pricing between £10-15 and drinks are also priced very reasonable £10 for a beer and double vodka with mixer. Staff were extremely friendly and welcome and took time to talk us through menu. If you are visit this pub, deserts are a must try as they are all homemade. Locals were also extremely friendly in the pub.
Found this little pub using google reviews whilst on our holidays in the area. Really friendly staff and owners giving it a personal touch serving delicious home cooked food. Worth calling in advance to make a booking as there aren’t many tables. Accommodated our dog too ????
The folks are so friendly and the food is incredible. Long way from home and fancy a home cooked meal? Homemade steak and ale pie was on the menu, and we absolutely loved it. Dessert? You could go for the sticky toffee pudding, or a flight of Scotch, or both, we did.
Great meal, freshly cooked, great service and very welcoming staff, with great entertainment in the Bar afterwards from Local musician Kevin.. not to be missed if he is there.
Well cooked and tasty food with friendly service. Nothing fancy and no windows in the dining area but we will definitely go back as we really enjoyed it and felt it was good value for money. Have already recommended it to family.
Friendly chat with bar staff and chef. Good "specials " Spanish onion soup, pork stroganoff,
chicken enchiladas. Pub grub, but of a high standard. Recommended.
Been in a couple of times now for meal,food was lovely,hot and fresh. Service as usual spot on,the couple that own this business are lovely people,you know it's not their first rodeo,they are so friendly,tbh that on it's own makes me want to go back,you are always received well. Even though i only live down the road ,why travel when all is well on your doorstep. ????They deserve to be supported in a tough old world .
Good food, lovely staff and owners. Definitely worth the visit.
