Oh well after having a little rant about the shop on Regent Street, I was advised the bakery had another shop in another location in the main part of the town.
I have given it 4 stars once again as the quality of the product for the cost is amazing, the breakfast rolls are delicious and under £3 where as around the corner at the competition they are over £5 for no better quality.
The reason once again I have deducted a star is the staff, slow beyond belief, have visited early morning and afternoon and there’s nothing to choose. It seems to take forever for them to make orders up, continually asking many times what the order is, blethering to other customers whilst serving me, which is most annoying. It seems staff in both shops have far too much to say and some advice is concentrate on the customer you are serving, listen properly to their order and be efficient instead of thinking it professional to stand talking to customers waiting in the queue.
It’s seems there is a lack of leadership in this location of the bakery, which is disappointing!
Just bought a Chicken mayo take away sandwich from a shop in Portsoy, it was well in date but the bread was as stale as ever and the less said about the chicken mayo the better that was completely disgusting. I'm 51 years of age and that was possibly the worst sandwich I have ever tasted. Straight in the bin.
Their soups are homemade, hearty and delicious. Their rowies are crispy, flaky and tasty, on their own or topped with your favourite add on. It's no wonder this shop is always busy!!
Excellent bakers. Really good quality. Very good priced. Pleasant staff. Only drawn back is being next door. I can't resist the soup and filled Rolls.
Great selection of treats. In particular I love their speciality scones, but they also do amazing pies, cakes and of course butteries!! The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Nice food lorne roll was top class so was the pies and cakes. Was quite busy, but the que went quick.

Brilliant for a wee stop off.. coffee n bacon roll deal... yum.. busy wee shop lots of people in n oot getting their bakery goods... although probably wee bit more pricey than the supermarket well worth it.. definately recommend.
