Those of us old enough to remember the days of Margaret running Stoney Stanton Chip Shop will remember how excellent this place used to be. Friendly place it once was. Now it is a long wait...dismissive service...and the food is average to poor. So sad that such a fantastic place of old has declined.

4 customers, 3 staff and a very long wait. The guy that was taking the orders was a bit dim, literally everyone who ordered had to say things three times and slowly. He made his little scribbles on a greasy piece of paper and then unsurprisingly they mixed up the orders. The girl serving clearly did not get along with him, you could have cut the atmosphere with a plastic fork. The owner was doing all the cooking, but wasn't really managing or training her staff who she said were both new. Does Gordon Ramsay do chippies for his programme?
Would rate this 0bif I could. Chips old texture of cardboard and cold pie. Avoid.

Had large tray of Donna meat and chips, was really tasty plenty of food fresh meat and chips made to order staff lovely and friendly I’d definitely go back
The worst kebab and chips my brother and I have ever had. We both put them in the bin. I wished I had took a photo to put on here. The meat was wet and extremely greasy and the salad looked like it went off a week ago.
