Freshly made order of 6 pizzas. All tasty and still warm. Long wait. We arrived and queued before they had even opened the gate, so only had a 30 min wait.
I never leave bad feedback but wow. Took an hour and a half to make our pizza. We came back to wait and they were all watching football, and commenting on how the pizzas were burnt and on fire.
When we got it, the dough was RAW. We were so hungry but it was horrid. Also burnt around the edges.
Messaged on Instagram and was told it was because there ‘is a high moisture content’. WHAT!! Foul and even though it’s the only place there really, you’re much better off eating an uncooked one from co op as it’s probably cooked the same amount
After an afternoon at the beach, we had a lovely sourdough pizza of goats cheese, balsamic red onion and rocket ???? Delicious and would definitely recommend!
Great pizza from the van in Croyde. Wait was an hour, which we were told about. Good crust and base.Happy with ingredients. My only criticism is that I would say it’s based on a 9in pizza. I would happily pay extra for a 12in. Price at £9 was fair for what we ordered (summer veg).
Great pizzas, the best gluten free pizza I've ever had!
Lovely staff and very friendly and being able to chill on a field with your pizza and drink and watch the sunset over the bay was amazing!
For all those moaning about these pizzas, clearly haven’t eaten at Hobb’s. Our pizzas were made to perfection and whilst there was a long wait (due to demand) we were happy to support a local business and the wait was worth it ????
A rather poor experience from what should be a trusted pizza chain. Upon arrival prices looked average for a pizza and after ordering we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to walk back to the bar at our campsite. 45 minutes later we grabbed our pizzas which must've been a man's 12 inch, they were rather small. Too small for a pizza that cost almost £14. The crusts look burnt but it tasted doughy and the tomato sauce seemed rather sweet, which isn't a personal preference. From what I believe, we were close to being the last to order (just one and a half hours after it opened) as when we returned there was a sold out sign, and many potential customers were were told so. Overall, not good and not worth your time.
Im sorry to have to write a bad reivew however I was Very disappointed with my experience.
Arrived to a small que and it was 10 minutes before the two staff members actually acknowledged any customer. When I asked how long the wait was all I got as a response was dunno depends on what everyone orders.
While I can't comment on the food as I didn't try the pizzas as I was walking back to our accommodation another person who had purchased a pizza was walking back to complain about it.
It's such a shame as it has great potential if you get the service and product right
