Lovely little restaurant. The service was great and the food was even better! We shared a pizza and a large portion of the triple cooked fries. The pizza was Perfect & I don't use that word very often in my reviews. The toppings where fresh and the pizza was cooked just as it should be.
The service was friendly and came with a smile!
The price was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes given.
I will definitely visit again in the future.
5*
Absolutely fantastic. My family organised a surprise 60th birthday party for me. Food was excellent, atmosphere was warm and friendly. Ben and his staff are friendly, cheerful, polite and helpful. Spotlesly clean and a beer garden in progress. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended ????
Great lunch for my my wife’s birthday today. Fantastic, very filling, food (the triple cooked chips are a thing of beauty!!!) and great service too. This was our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last.
Many thanks to all the staff for a lovely experience ????
Absolutely fantastic evening at this venue. Food, staff and atmosphere second to none. Anyone looking for a great evening out, please support this lovely family business. Cannot fault it in any way
Always busy , the food is nice , the calzone is properly done here , clean toilets , one toilet for the restaurant and it is unisex.
I wanted to love it, but didn't. I hope that it was a mid-week thing, but what I wanted seemed to be out of stock. What I got was OK, the starter tasted fine, but the crackling could not be cut, broken or bitten. I did mention this to the waitress, but received no comment. I had pizza and tiramisu after, which again was OK.
It is worth a visit because it is a nice friendly place.
At about £100 for two with wine it's not badly priced, but they need better stock control. I'll forgive cocktail mixers and popular dishes running out, but not sparkling water - when the table next to ours asked for it too, the Spar across the road should have got a visit.
We have been here a few times and the food and service has always been excellent. It isn't the cheapest place to go to but you pay for quality. They did have some music playing which was a little loud but this wouldn't stop us going again. Between our group we had mushrooms on toast, garlic bread, carbonara, lamb, lasagna, pizza and triple cut chips. All enjoyed their food.
My first time eating here and wow I had the special pasta dish ???? was absolutely delicious and well worth a visit
