After having a mot and service done which cost £1,000! I was told that to clear an engine light it would cost either £400 pounds to replace a sensor or £800. Having consulted with my mechanic friend I had the feeling that I had been heavily overcharged I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere, the bill at the next garage including the sensor came to £150 to clear the engine light. Disappointed & disgusted.
Recommend going elsewhere untrustworthy
These guys are the best they service & mot my car every year they let me know when its due and keep me updated the through the whole process I wouldn't go anywhere else and my family now se them to. Excellent
I took my daughter's car in to get a fault with the ABS braking system diagnosed and repaired. They were completely snowed under with work until next week but managed to squeeze in a quick diagnostic test which identified the fault. Didn't cost much. They then offered to take a look at the fault that same day which was pretty amazing. They then made a temporary repair and estimated a complete repair would take possibly 3 hours which meant coming back next week. There was no charge for the work done that afternoon which is pretty amazing. Wonderful service from a great business with a really helpful, can-do attitude. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Honestly not so great. Called them to fixed three small issues and only 1 was fixed. Had a small coolant leak, replaced coolant expansion tank, but the hose clamp was not tight enough so the leak was still persistent. Door lock opening issue (they claimed was fixed over the phone) was not fixed and was still broken when I collected the car. The internal door handle plastic clip was fixed, but the part was wrong and very flimsy. Had to take the car to a specialist to clean up all the mess, but I was still charged the full amount despite the job was so poorly done, wasted my money. 100% would not return.
Absolutely outstanding customer service, efficient and knowledgeable staff and to cap it off friendly as well. A place that genuinely is focused on customers needs and still run as a family business. Thank you very much to Paul and the team. The only downside is I will be recommending you to others, so your workload might increase even more... sorry ????
Really disappointed ????. I have chosen the garage due to positive feedback and I've decided to do the MOT. Failed MOT due to break pads ( three days before test, seen the message appeared in my dashboard and still failed -front &rear pads needs changing-MOT ) anyway,I have spoke with Luke to make another appointment to change the pads. I have spoke with Paul that I will buy the parts and we have confirmed the rate for the labour only -CASH. On appointment day left the car, told Paul the break pads in my trunk, and all seems good. Surprise, surprise when I got the call-All Done Mate ! Find out that the charge was parts and labour despite my convo/agreement with Paul in the morning and days before and when we agreed rate, his reply
was that doesn't remember the phone conversation.They are not able to make some notes for the customers, his reply was "Well, to many phone calls, you're not the only one. Really disappointed!! I was expecting to receive some discounts on this bill, definitely not my fault, but no, I needed to pay full price. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THE CLIENT MATTER. AVOID THIS PLACE !! They don't tell you when they call you to pick up the car, that MOT failed, when you arrive you got the outcome. Absolutely a joke !!!!
We took our Audi here for replacement brake pads and disks and minor works.
