Lovely server who makes you feel welcomed & has a lovely manner about. I had eggs florentine & my daughter had poached egg with avocado. The price was reasonable.
One of the worst places to eat I've EVER visited.???????? Ordered 2 battered fish burgers and chips.
It took well over a half an hour to arrive.
The fish was from frozen/boxed and tasted of metal.
A solid ton of lettuce drenched in water ( I'm not referring to being wet... I picked it up and water streamed out of it puddling on the plate). Due to this, the buns were soaking wet underneath it all.
We received less than a child size portion of cardboard chips on the side. The picture added will show this.
Waiter never came back to ask if everything was ok. She ignored us even though it was very obvious that something was wrong.
Most food was left on the plates.
Was quite upset and asked for the bill.
The same waiter came to our table, held out her hand with the card machine with £28 on it.
I said to her that this meal was unacceptable. I explained to her that the fish was unpleasant, buns soaking wet, salad drenched in water (which I even showed her)
She just looked at me still holding the machine. She didn't give a damn. No apology or to see if anything could have been done. She didn't care that the food was vile and made it very clear with her look

Great start to the New Year
Places like this should not be in good areas such as Muswel Hill.
We frequented this place many times for Sunday Roast. However, we’ve noticed that the Roast beef quality has been going downhill for the last 2 visits. The beef today was thin, chewy and overcooked, and I doubt it is even from the ribeye cut that they put on the menu. You can compare my photo with the others on Google that the roast beef looks quite different vs three months ago. The 72-hour gravy was still nice though. Really hope this place would improve.
Came here on New Years Day with my family and had an amazing experience. The staff, service and food was amazing. My mum and I had a beef burger and my brother had the fish burger, they were more then what we expected and the portion was massive. The meat and fish were fresh and had amazing flavours. The menu had lost of things to chose from which catered for everyone. There was a live band which made a great atmosphere, which was really enjoyable and we all enjoyed. Overall it was a great experience and couldn’t ask for a better meal.
One of my favourite restaurants in London! The food is amazing, you definitely should have a Sunday roast there. The Yorkshire pudding dough is made there as well. Sarah is the sweetest waitress ever. And the owners Alex and Alex are just lovable as well. They always give us great suggestions, and ask us if we enjoyed the food and if everything went okay. My heart feels warmer each time we go there.
Great service and great food. The Sunday lunch is excellent.
My main reason for eating the atmosphere 3* is because of the very loud music; I found it very difficult to hear what my friend was saying, and we had to shout against the barrage of noise from the music and the other diners (who were shouting presumably because of a similar problem!).
You could have switched the music off completely and the atmosphere would have been 5*.
The food here is completely incredible and that’s not even the afterglow from Saturdays beautiful weather talking! I’m glad my first taste of bubble and squeak was at Stella’s room, I’m sure all subsequent bubble and squeaks will be an anti-climax. Honorable mention to their impressive specials menu and the AMAZING service we received. Can’t wait to return!
