It's been disappointing recently. Chips are always cold even after going in after they have just opened. The fish is usually pretty good but the chips are what really let's it down unfortunately. You can't have a fish and chip shop with cold chippies! It's a real shame as the service is good and the lady who works there is really nice!
Have just had a lunch time special.

Probably the best chip shop ever!! Have now visited three times over three years & the quality of the chips, sausage & large fish cake has been excellent each visit. A family owned traditional chip shop - they love what they do & they are very good at it too! They are proud to serve the local community with top quality freshly cooked food! The best value for money (out of 5 similar premises locally).
For the chips, quality potatoes freshly cut, quality clean oil used to fry, couldn't ask for better! The jumbo sausage delicious
(battered & non-battered). Simply amazing value meal, well under £10 for two adults...wow!
Staff service friendly & always smiling :) Requested open wrapped, we thoroughly enjoyed eating straight away! Only one slight drawback is that it is a 'cash only' premise (we ran to the next door convenience shop & fortunately got cashback with a purchase). Next time we'll arrive better prepared! ????☺️
