Really like this Starbucks. I have tried this and the one near Cardiff Marina (Morrisons). This Starbucks has a lovely warm atmosphere. Lots of light. I use this Starbucks to work alone, meet for business and hang out with friends.
Service is excellent - I’m a regular and they all know my order and are always warm to welcome me.

This is a lovely place with a really nice atmosphere. It’s peaceful without being dead, and this despite being busy serving drive through as well as walk in customers. The staff are kind, smart and efficient, led by their manager Vicky - who went above and beyond today to help me with some Starbucks items I needed for an amateur production being put on in the locality. Her sense of community spirit, her quick understanding of what was needed, and her ‘can do’ attitude made my day. If you were shopping nearby (and that includes at the massive M and S) you could do yourself a favour by crossing the A48 to this much brighter, more open and altogether more pleasant environment. Give it a try. For myself I am very grateful for the entirely unmerited kindness I received. Thank you.
I've given 2 ⭐ for food because the item we wanted they'd run out of and this happens quite often, we'd gone in early in the day as well so if they know the item (almond croissant) is a popular item then surely common sense would be to have more in stock... Service was great, the place was clean, tidy and warm, seen as it was a freezing cold day and people were constantly coming and going so the door was open a lot.
Don’t tend to write reviews but…….. the staff at this branch are absolutely amazing, my 5 year old daughter loves going here, we have a routine every morning (and more through the day) where my daughter orders my coffee as she loves talking to the staff, they are always extremely polite, chatty, and genuinely lovely people. I would mention names but there are too many to write! To all the staff here, thank you and keep up the amazing work :-) KEV ☺️
Ordered an almond frapp, an almond latte and a flapjack. Ended up with a coconut latte. This is the third order in a row that has been wrong. Shocking service, someone needs to learn to read. Only order if you want a mystery prize which is worth much less than the cost of the the order placed. Apalling!
Always a friendly welcome at the drive-thru here; have been a patron for many years and more recently ventured inside for a sit down...
Nice airy space with posh Prostoria Toggle chairs which are good to sink into.
Last couple of visits have had to have dine-in coffees in takeout cups owing to broken dishwasher. Come along now 'bucks, get it sorted and get that fifth star!
Culverhouse cross staff are really friendly and helpful. Drinks always done quickly and without fault. Can’t fault staff.
Worst Starbucks ever. Bad service, bad experience for multiple times.
Asked for a specific drink I wanted without the ice for my personal reason… been told by staff will be “underfilled”. Can’t understand logic and under what terms and condition that is, but fine whatever. I’ve ordered a large and my drink is HALF filled. I won’t class that as underfilled, she might as well just say it’s going to be a half of the cup.
Those staff needs to be retrained or I would replace them to be honest. Never had this problem any other Starbucks. And I had to pay £6.15 for a “underfilled” drink. What a service
Won’t be going there ever again, never improved each time and only had worst experience each time.
