Service was terrible.
The day we went there really needed to be someone in charge encouraging the staff.
Food prices so different at all Starbucks.
ALL food prices need to be lowered or larger portions.
Atmosphere was like a morgue. Needs some soft music in background. L
Came in thismorning for a cappuccino and a muffin to sit in.... We were charged for sit in price but given everything takeaway, no plates or mugs. Had to sit at a dirty table. They weren't busy, plenty staff on. Girl at the till was friendly but checked with us twice that we were sitting in but we were still given takeaway service but paid extra for sitting in... Not impressed.
We visit regularly after dog training classes, only because it's convenient for some of our members. It is always understaffed; queues are long; tables are usually in need of clearing; the drive through will probably be closed because they couldn't cope with the number of customers; if you sit in, you will be charged for a takeaway cup unless you protest, and even then the staff will try to justify the charge "because they don't have staff to deal with ceramic cups" - not the customer's problem. It's awful. If it wasn't convenient for my friends, I would never go there.
If for service there was away to do a minus I could. Just been this afternoon. It took a hour to get a coffee and a hot chocolate after reminding them about the drinks to which was asked the name and she couldn’t find the ticket. This isn’t the first time I have had an issue with them. Two weeks ago went in to get the normal drink peach iced tea and a chai latte was given a cup with ice and a tea bag and no peach in it. Luckily I was going to work so went into the Starbucks in town where they looked and laughed at the drinks we went in with and made them straight away for us the in town one is the best one and staff are a lot nicer and friendlier there.

Additionally, there were discounted products on the shelf, but she was unable to tell me which products were discounted and which were not. Freezing cold store, people sitting with jackets and hats on. We waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks with no sign of them coming we asked for a refund. Toilets could have done with a good clean too.
Wanted drive through but no drive through available and this is on more than one occasion so went in for slow service and it was closing at 3pm on a Saturday!!
Untidy work area and dining area and poor cake choices to purchase
Needs leadership urgently…..
Middle of a Sunday afternoon, poor selection of cake, a long queue waiting for their orders and appeared to be only 3 staff working. Drive through was also closed off. Unusual for a Starbucks to appear quite so disorganised. Maybe just visit Greggs across the road next time.
