Went in and asked for a drink in regular dark roast cappuccino. The guy, albeit nice and forthcomming, had to ask his colleagues what a dark roast was. But ok. When the drink was ready, he served it to me in a paper cup. I said I had asked for a drink in. He said that they only did paper cups, as they had no more porcelain cups for the moment. How is that consistent with the Starbucks' standards????
How does this country keep on functioning?!??
He should've told me before I paid, when I asked for a DRINK IN.
And would've went to Costa's!

Appalled by the staff here. They made drinks for a friend of theirs in the queue behind me first, despite me putting my order in before her. I was left waiting ages whilst they chatted together without a care in the world. Reading other reviews you really do have to wonder if the staff here realise they’re actually at work. And £4.50 for half a cup of hot chocolate once the whipped cream had melted.
Not a very wide range of food, but you probably aren’t coming here for that reason, let’s be honest here. The food that they do have is sometimes not the best, but the staff attitude to customers and overall service more than makes up for this. I’ve been many many times and everyone is very kind, great with greeting people and happy to help if you have an extra question or need a quick change (preferably before they actually make the drink guys… don’t ask for changes AFTER, be prepared????).
Seating is great during the colder months inside, and they have a nice outdoor section on two sides of the building cor the warmer months. This way you can have a quick sit and chill outside with a something icy to cool you down.
Food places are nearby if you are interested as this is part of the “services station”, so gives you the opportunity to grab some fuel, and something to eat (do not put the petrol hose in your mouth), at the same time - with the luxury of a Starbucks “Hot Unicorn Magic Dust (with real Fairy Wings)” on the way out.
Woman needs to take her microphone off before she slags off customers,only orderd a (decaff,sugar free hazelnut ,oatmilk,)(I'm diabetic) 2 other easy drinks,and a cake for my son,and was complaining about my order,her attitude is disgusting,the girl at the paying part was so embarrassed and apologised loads,will definitely not be returning,gone here for years ,never again will I return,just glad I didn't hear all her attitude and disrespect to my face,as I would of been even more embarrassed,20 quid spent to be disrespected,this was a treat for me tonight but I go here because I know Starbucks can cater for diabetes,but I fealt tonight my diabetes was a issue,not by Starbucks but only by the individual taking the order,(oh my god did you hear that order,i cant be arsed)etc is terrible.
Met up with my daughter here she insisted on it. I think its all over priced and overrated. But her boyfriend payed so I was ok with that, good lad ???? ???? ????
Changing my review from a few years ago, it was four stars then. Not now. Staff seem uninterested, like you are bothering them expecting to be served. Choice of food limited and not that great. Americano is inconsistent, sometimes ok, sometimes not. Ideal location so should be busy, but it's not. And it's more expensive than Costa. Says it all really.
Service is always great, coffee is always tasty it's just an expensive treat every now and then overall really good. Some of the Cakes are amazing as well.
Courteous staff and convinienet location. The bee in the photo is for the bee hive and not a real bee ????????
