Honestly this place was a lifesaver!
Me and my partner had been out on the bike and on the way back we stopped in here as it had turned quite cold suddenly and started raining and I saw this service station and stopped in for a coffee to warm up and attempt to dry off a bit.
Coffee was very nice and service was good, there were a couple of kids running around and being noisy which was a bit annoying as they seemed to belong to one of the team whose partner had stopped by with them
I've been coming here for a few months as I meet a friend over a drink during our lunch break. Today we ordered the seasonal iced matcha strawberry tea blend, as my friend has had a few of these, and she said they are lovely. When we got handed our drinks, the dark green did put me off as it didn't look like the picture, but I thought, hey can't be that bad. Wrong! I can singlehandedly say this was the most disgusting drink I've ever had. It's been an hour and I still have the disgusting aftertaste in my mouth. It was so bad I had to spit it out and I simply could not touch the drink after that. £5 drink in the bin.
The service today was also extremely slow even though there was nobody but us waiting to be served, and two baristas. So I'm not sure what happened there. Either way, very unhappy.
Clean, plenty of seats, usual coffee and snacks offerings. Toilets and good baby changing facilities. Also outdoor seating available
It's a Starbucks, so you know what you're getting.
It's an expensive but decent enough drink, not worth getting food - There's a Greggs across the road if you want breakfast or a snack!
Don't say no to whipped cream on your drink, because you will get it regardless, might as well just accept that.

Arrived here for a much needed coffee, staff were polite but very slow with service, the coffee was bitter tasting and lukewarm the venue was dirty, tables filled with cups, plates ect, tables dirty you did not want to hang around. Would not recommend this better go next door to Greg's
A really nice cafe in a really useful location. The facilities are very clean and tidy and there was a good selection of food and drinks.
I called off at the Starbucks on the way back from a day trip for a drink and the toilet. There was nobody at the counter when I entered so I made my way to the toilet first. Whilst I was in the toilet all the lights went out, I made my way out of the toilet and the whole shop had been closed and the doors all locked. I was locked in the Starbucks store, dark and alone. I was hugely panicked and running around the store. I spotted the fire door and barged through. I got out and the store alarm went off, blaring, i then got into my car, thoroughly shaken up. I then saw the staff member run to the door, let herself in and turn the alarm off. Not stopping to ask me anything, she just drove off. Utterly disgusted and will be taking this much further.
Prompt, cheerful, polite service.
