I've had brilliant care as an outpatient here for physiotherapy and maternity. It's a fantastic hospital and deserves more funding, especially with a growing Maldon population
We are so grateful for all of the support St Peters have given us. We gave birth at Broomfield and were transferred to St Peters to finish our observation so we could get more support breastfeeding. They were AMAZING!!!! I would fully recommend anyone to go there. They welcomed us with opem arms. My baby and i wouldnt be doing as well as we are without their help.
Thank you St Peters!!
St Peter's Maternity Ward is absolutely fantastic and the staff do an amazing job. They were so welcoming and made my partner feel very relaxed. I would highly recommend St Peters.
Very handy for blood tests and small procedures, especially when it avoids the mammoth effort required for a Broomfield visit. You are taken back in time to a proper Victorian red brick hospital, which looks great from the road. However it is poorly maintained, boarded up and deteriorating beyond that. Chronic underfunding is apparent everywhere. Which is a shame because the staff are good and the service is great.
The midwives here couldn't have done more for me. I was having a bit of a difficult time after a three day labour and c-section at Broomfield and they absolutely turned my experience around through their care and compassion. Every member of staff was
absolutely lovely. The midwives were unbelievably patient and supportive and the kitchen staff were so kind and attentive, making some beautiful, healthy meals for aiding breastfeeding and recovery. I can't thank St Peter's enough for their great service.
Even though my son is nearly 2, I feel like I have to still leave a review for the amazing birthing ward at St Peters. I didn't have my son at St Peters but had many check ups at the St Peters ward when I was pregnant and was always treated amazingly. After having my son at Broomfield, I went to St Peters to recieve help with breast feeding and was there for one night and I can't fault any thing. The postnatal ward was very quiet, very clean and relaxing and the midwives were just amazing and helped me and my son so much.
I am hoping if me and my partner decide to have another child, we can have them at the birthing unti at St Peters.
I popped to The Cafe, which is in the hospital, for my first ever lunch recently. Oh WOW what a lunch!! Very tasty. All the ladies were so friendly & chatted with everyone when serving their food. Great value too.
Excellent service from the time I've been going there during my pregnancy. They keep proper checks throughout. Then I stayed there for a week after an emergency c section at Broomfield hospital . Wish I were able to give birth at St. Peters . Evey other new mother seemed to be leaving the next day , but i felt the need to stay longer .
Due to the c section, I was in serious pain and I was very much struggling with my new born son. The midwives there are fantastic as they were very helpful , friendly and supportive . They give a lot of support and guidance in breastfeeding , made me hot drinks , and also took care of my baby when I badly needed some rest . My baby and I were well taken care of and I am very grateful towards this place.
