I have visited St.Michael’s twice now, once for a blood test and again for an x-ray. The receptionists on both buildings were very helpful.

I was given allotted appointment times and I was in and out within 10 minutes on both occasions (a very well oiled machine). I hate needles and the lady who took the bloods was quite reassuring and calming. The lady who did my chest x-ray was professional and clearly confident in what she does.

The service I have received from our NHS and my local surgery has been exemplary over the last month or so and it makes me very proud and lucky to have access to such world class healthcare.

Had all my midwife appointments here bar the first two which were at Broomfield and really happy with it.

The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and every appointment is nice and easy.

Would probably opt to have my baby here if it was a service currently being offered but it’s not available at the moment.

This is the second time that I have been in this hospital for blood tests. As you walk in the door there is a relaxing atmosphere. You feel it when the nurse greets you when you walk in.

I waited a few minutes and then went into the cubicle and got another greeting by a lovely nurse.

As she was taking the the blood we talked and had a laugh.

As I went to leave everyone said goodbye. Absolutely fantastic appointment. All the staff I met are an asset to the NHS. Well done to all.

Feel very lucky to have this facility available! Such a friendly and calm environment, much nicer than local hospital. All staff are friendly and can't do enough for you.

Gutted that due to shortages at Broomfield the services here are limited. I would definitely choose to have my baby here!!

Maternity ward

Very lovely staff members always very helpful and understanding they have taken care of me throughout my pregnancy and gave me all the support and advise I need it’s so nice knowing that I can feel relaxed and I am able to talk to them about anything I need to.

My wife and I had our son here in Feb 2020, every appointment we had up to the birth, the staff were great and being a first time father, when it came to the actual labour I didnt really know what to do or when to bring the wife in, when I phoned them to tell them shes in labour they were very helpful. When I brought the wife in it was lovely to see the same midwives we had all the way through our previous appointments. We had 3 midwives to ourselves that night and we had a very well equipped huge room with everything we needed in it. We gave birth to a very healthy boy at 4:05am. We cannot thank WJC enough and will always recommend them.

Our friends are having their first in a few months and have chosen WJC to have their baby after our fantastic experience.

All my antenatal appointments where here and thankfully I was low risk and able to have my baby here. I was able to stay overnight after having my son in the morning which was reassuring incase I had any questions/needed help feeding etc.

Staff are absolute LEGENDS!

Everyone so helpful and caring. If I was to give birth again I wouldn't hesitate to choose wjc!

Definitely the best experience I could have had after a nightmare pregnancy caused by the midwifes I had in London, even though I ended up in Broomfield hospital for an emergency c section they were more than happy for me to come back for help with breastfeeding. They make u so comfortable and don't make u feel awkward for asking questions or calling them at weird hours to put ur mind at ease.. I cannot recommend them enough.
