Been at this doctors for 20 years since I was born. Signed up at doctors in uni as I have bad asthma & now they’ve taken me off the doctors at home and won’t take me back & have left me with no doctors RUDE!
My husband and I have been patients at St John's Surgery for 6 years and have nothing but praise for the all of the staff. No one has ever been rude, we always get a call back or an appointment most of the time, I think one has to appreciate that there will be times when you can't get one due to the surgery being busy. Some of the reviews are unfair in my opinion and one would have to wonder if these patients were respectful towards the staff? We certainly have no complaints with regards to the service and care we receive. Our thanks to everyone at St John's! Basil and Sandra Bloch. ????
The reception staff is very impolite, they should be let go of their job for being unprofessional. The waiting time long to speak to a receptionist over a phone over 30 minutes! The doctors very incompetent except one Dr Johns who is very helpful. All other doctors should not be working in a medical field as they dont even refer you to a specialist but give you a paracetamol.
Beyond un helpful and have lied multiple times about appointments saying they have created an appointment and yet the other doctors have no acknowledgement of the appointment. Rude staff in which lie. My girlfriend has potential cancer after finding lumps in her throat. So far the only urgency was a blood test which wasn't processed properly so wasn't allowed the test until the doctor wrote urgent on it. How unprofessional. Over 75 calls in one day to try and get somewhere but again lies on lies. It seems know one knows what they're doing during one of the most damaging times in medical history. I will be taking this as far as it can go. I would avoid this doctors surgery with all your might as you may come out worse than you went in. We even have a gdpr case with this surgery due to information being incorrectly shared. If the head of the surgery could contact me otherwise I will have to fund agencies to look into how poorly you're treating the general public and the people you have sworn to care for.
I visited surgery yesterday morning around 9am and managed to get app for late afternoon same day very fortunate big thankyou to receptionist doctors very good went for xray next morning very ????
Very rude reception staff that assume and interrupt. Left me on hold for 3 mins no explanation. All appts currently by phone (understandably) but they give u no time for that appointment call, for some reason?!?! Although you could have a ten min appointnent with a time prior? If you miss it because they give the whole day as a window and call once, they dont bother telling you what will happen next or leave a message. Using covid as an excuse for poor staffing and patient treatment. Was told "that's just how it is". Sincerely hope that no one was hoping for a compassionate or caring service.
Used to be a great surgery, can't even get an appointment these days ???? call on the day can't book appointment or even book a future appointment, just get told to call again tomorrow, not great when you are juggling work commitments.
I've had nothing but first class service from St John's. Everyone has been knowledgeable, kind and efficient. I'm sorry if other people's experience hasn't been the same. I think perhaps only people who've had a problem write reviews so i wanted ti say don't be put off if you're thinking of joining the surgery.
