I transferred from a surgery on the other side of the country where things were not so great. I made a fantastic choice at St James.
1. They answer the phone.
2. The reception staff are polite and helpful.
3. The doctor Dr O was so nice and I feel so confident with how she plans to do things and her communication is excellent ????. Thank you, I feel safer already.
Very efficient, Easy to get hold of. Very helpful doctors, they don't mess around and are very accommodating. If nothing else, I would stay in Devizes just for the doctors surgery lol
I have just moved into the area and found St James Surgery a big improvement on my previous surgery. In fact I cannot fault it. My only worry is whether they can consistently keep up the good work.

I can only comment on the treatment I and my late husband received at St James Surgery. I cannot commend them enough. Dr Oliver has been superb on each appointment, both over the telephone and face to face. The Reception staff and the nursing staff have been exceptional. Friendly and welcoming. I feel so lucky that I am on the patient list here.
Cannot fault this practice. We signed up to this practice due to inefficiencies at another surgery, and it is the best thing I have ever done! My family and I have spoken to different doctors at this surgery, and each time we have received fantastic treatment. So happy to be able to have the confidence again from my GP!
Was sent by my own surgery to St James to see Guy a physiotherapist. After examination he said I would be contacted for treatment. And that I could speak to him any time I needed to. But NO, no one at St James will arrange a call or converstion. So thats the end of my pain treatment. Good luck to the next person who is refered tyo Guy.
New to the surgery and cannot believe the difference between St James' and my last GP surgery. I'm astounded. Everyone I have spoken to from admin to nurse to GP in the past two weeks has been so very kind, helpful and efficient. I came with an issue immediately due to incompetence at my last practice and within a week I had spoken to a GP, had repeat bloods and a follow up with GP. Everything back under control. The fact that the door to the surgery is open is so welcoming. A little thing but makes a big difference. I actually stopped at the door frame and looked around the first time to see if anyone was going to shout at me if I went in!!! Totally brilliant so far and thrilled to have been able to become a patient here.
Not been since 2013 but had a few visits lately, lovely friendly surgery, my GP was very good and the service was quick, no problem getting appointments and my referral letter was with me within 24hrs. Blood test were performed by Noami I am not a easy bleeder but she was brilliant. My partner was so impressed by my experiences, she is now wants to move to this practice. Thank you
