Have been using them for many years currently servicing and carrying out MOT'S on both cars never had any problems. They have collected and serviced our friends car who is abroad. Cannot speak too highly but I am sure they would deal with any events professionally.

Con-artists! Don’t go anywhere near them. Far better, and cheaper, places around. I was staying with family last summer and a front headlight bulb went. I went to St Helen’s Service Station because the Google reviews were good. More fool me! They charged me £48 for replacing a bulb - it took maximum 30 minutes. When I queried the extortionate price I was told ‘Volvo front headlights are difficult to get to, hence the £40 charge for work’. Yesterday, I went to get the other front headlight replaced at a different garage and was charged £15 - £8 for the bulb and £7 for the 5 minutes it took. When I asked how easy the bulb was to get to they physically showed me. I asked if it was £40 worth of work and they laughed and said ‘absolutely not - whatever garage charged you that was taking you for a ride!’ I wish I’d had the confidence to challenge it further. Hopefully I can save another person from their terrible service. I suspect if you are a young woman by yourself they just see an opportunity to make a lot of cash. Don’t waste your time or money.
My son's car broke down on The Duver, just as we had arrived on holidays. AA towed to St Helen's garage and although very busy, managed to repair before our return home. Fortunately we didnt need 2 cars for the holiday, only to travel. My son said excellent, friendly service and at a very realistic cost. The AA had explained the problem. Highly recommended.
Great staff, good service & fast turnaround, they fitted me in at very short notice for an MOT too, I just wish they were still based in St Helen’s ????

Took my car here for some electrical work. Various other garages on the IOW told me I needed a new TIPM at £900 but I wasn’t convinced. Took it to St Helens Service Station as a last resort (only because distance from my house) and they found chaffing to the engine wiring harness. They resolved the problem literally saving me HUNDREDS of pounds and if I’d of taken advice from the other garages, I’d of not only been £900 worse off (plus labour) and still has the same issue but my wife would probably have left me. Thank you “Alec” for your time, patience and attention to detail ...absolutely fantastic job, I’d of been lost without you guys and majorly out of pocket! See you again soon for future work ????????
