Absolutely amazing food and service. We only popped in for a quick snack and ordered garlic mushrooms plus nachos to share. The portions were huge and the price so reasonable. The garlic mushrooms were the best I've ever tasted and sooooo inexpensive.
We will return here the next time we're in this part of the country.

Have recently been here twice for the carvery and it was gorgeous! The new management Rhian and Alister are lovely and the pub has such a lovely cozy atomosphere! Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Food was amazing, very big portions and all home cooked. Homely atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Sunday carvery was spot on too. They have family days and different weekend entertainment on which looked very appealing. The new owners are doing a fantastic job :) I highly recommend. Ill be back on more than a few occasions ???? well done alister and rhian :)
Good food, plenty of choice. Staff and service- great.
We both had the best Sunday carvery we have ever tasted, only drawback was the plates are a bit small, but you could go back and fill up with vegetables again.
The blueberry cheesecake is sublime and my wife had the trifle which was excellent.
Alistair, Rhian and staff are warm and welcoming.
We will definitely be back again.
Update to this we have been back another 6 times since and still we can't fault the place.
Great under new ownership. Food was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Had a wonderful birthday meal for my parents highly recommend
New owners, went there, food was nice and plenty of it. The service on this particular night was ver very slow, we had to ask for things. Bit disappointed really.
