My car was booked in for it's first service , the staff were very friendly and professional and showed a safe practice throughout covid with a separate showroom being used to allow you to remain in the building rather than being asked to leave while waiting - very thoughtful of their customers 5*
I called in to Springside motors as my foglamp housing had become misaligned on my Kia Stonic.
After a short inspection I was given a quote of £192 to realign it. Apparently it would take 2 hours and the front bumper would need taken off. No parts needed or paintwork, so that's £96 per hour labour costs.
I asked on Stonic owners group on Facebook for any helpful advice and the admin of the group Andy Ward said,
Remove wheel, remove wheel arch plastic liner, gain access to foglamp housing and push it back into place.
Which is what I did. Took me about 45 minutes and cost me nothing.
Won't ever be near Springside motors again.
Purchased my kia ceed gt from them 6 months ago, only writing this review now due to feeling it is necessary, when I purchased my car I paid £250 for them to ceramic coat it, which they didn't do but argued they did even though the car still had green spots on it due it not been washed correclty aswell as bird droppings which they tried to wipe off cause they thought I didn't notice, soo had to pay it cause i wanted the car, that was my first fault, second was one of the two salesmen I had dealing with me was absolutely useless, he didn't fill out any of the necessary paper work needed for me to purchase the car, aswell as when I asked if I needed certain documents he told me it wasn't needed when it was and caused both me and the second salesmen a lot of grief, third after a month of owning the car the brakes started to judder soo taken it back in to get fixed, they replaced the discs and not the pads which was odd to begin with but now the issue is back and have reason to believe it is due to a seized caliper and bad front brake pads which any other garage would have replaced with warped brake discs, also had issues when gettin my curtesy car from them because even though it should have been ready for me coming i had to wait 2 hours because one of the staff taken the car away without telling anyone soo I had to wait around which was another issue, the car is under warranty and obvs I had my 6 month consumer rights at the time but tried to contact them again after the brakes started to judder again, but now taking it into my own hands because I have had nothing but problems with the dealership and certainly from my personal experience wouldn't recommend to anyone else, thankyou though to the second salesmen though because you certainly did more than you should have had to when the first one likely received the bonus from initiating the deal.
Great service when my car broke down. All dealers in and around Glasgow too busy to deal with me. Staff could not have done more to get my car seen ASAP kept me updated etc. Might have been a 25 mile trip to them but would recommend to others, great customer service which is lacking in big named dealerships
Seen the car online , spoke to Craig about the car . Pleasantly no sales pressure from him and within a week car was serviced and MOT’d ready for me to pick up . Great experience and would recommend to anyone . 1yr warranty with the car and again great interaction with Craig making it a pleasant experience. Can’t give 10 stars so 5 it is .
I was browsing as I am interested in car makes & costs. At this time I spoke to one of the sales team who was well versed on the product range & availability of the models on show. The reason for 4stars is I wasn't in the market for a car but I am certain that Kia would be on my search list & I would be more than happy to deal with the sales representative I spoke to.
Yet another fantastic service and mot from understanding and accommodating professional staff. Thanks to Shirley and rest, special shout out to Steven (New start who was extremely helpful and efficient in during full process). Keep up the good work. Was a great experience, very straightforward and the staff are lovley, even got a courtesy call to make sure I was happy, just a long waiting time to book in for service ect over a month but they even washed my car....I've never washed it so was very happy ????
