Lost for words, bit of wait but the food and service was absolutely worth it. The food was marinated with spices and herbs out of this world, the fusion of which was simply beyond words. The service was impeccable. Arishma was an angel. She didn’t tire asking after us on a regular basis to ensure we were content. Certainly will be visiting again, ensuring we book ahead. Compliments to the chef and the rest of the team. Keep up the good work. Certainly will be recommending this place to friends and family.
Very good atmosphere and decor. Overall the food was tasty, the Afghan karhi was good but a little too heavy on the tomatoes plus the kebabs could of done with a touch more salt. Really good service. Definitely worth a visit again. Keep it up guys.
Thanks SATNAM waitress provided excellent service throughout our meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure all of our needs were met. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on. We truly appreciate her hard work and dedication to making our dining experience enjoyable.
Loved it. The server that we had was sooo nice. We went there for eid. She was very good at recommending which food and drink to have and also paced the food so that the starters came first and then just as we were finishing off the starter, she ordered the main. Thank you (lady wearing green kaneez on eid). The drinks were in dish with dry ice and looked really nice. The biryani was a little bit spicy for me, fine for others. Overall the atmosphere and everything is very nice. A great upgrade from the previous location in tooting.
I had a kebab wrap and my mother and brother had vegetable biryani each. Quick service, good tasting value food and nice clean interior with well laid out tables and chairs. Staff was very professional.
So we are vegetarian and we found this amazing restaurant in tooting. We try chilli paneer , paneer tikka , Tarka dal , pilav rice , butter roti , garlic naan, Sahi paneer and test is amazing superb , also I want to mention a staff girl name SATNAM she is very kind and humble also she help us to choose our dishes. Thank you for wonderful hospitality.

This is a fair balanced review for consideration.
I remember Spice Village when it was quite new to the scene. The masala fish was excellent and it was clear that the restaurant was an upcoming big name, which it achieved.
Upon our arrival we had around 20 minutes wait before being seated as it was busy. They kindly accommodated for my mother's needs.
The menu itself is rather small to be honest, I felt there needed to be more variety of dishes. Popadoms and salad should be complimentary,. especially for orders of our size, like other restaurants offer.
Our Order:
Poppadoms
Salad
Masala Fish
Mixed Grill
Lamb Balti
Channa Masala
5 Roti
2 Bottled drinks
Our dishes arrived in reasonable time.
I do however feel that Spice Village reputation is dare I say, making the owners resort to money-grabbing arrogance. The total paid was quite higher than nearby restaurants that are excellent and similar in standard/quality.
They also included a ridiculous 15% Service charge on top yet nowhere else we have been asks for this. Total was around £94.
I'm regrettably going to have to knock of a star of the final review score due to their pricing/charges.
If you have money to splash and do not mind, the food is excellent.
However, In the future, I'll be choosing Dawat and Lahore Karahi (both local) over Spice Village which offer far better value for money and are of similar quality (if not better).
