Boss man here is the ultimate Boss man. Food on point, service on point. Plus this place had a toilet, I know that don't sound like a big deal, but soooooo many chicken spots don't have a toilet, it makes a difference, trust that.
I normally never go to this branch but ended up going as enroute home.
Wings where decent naga donner was a little bit over saturated with oil - I know it's a donner but was more then what you may expect.
Ordered chicken burger with cheese with 2 wings meal x 2 + 1 naga donner meal ( they dont do a meal in that - when i asked for a drink was told they dont do meals- common sense would say you should of said when payment was made then i woukd of paid for a extra drink) - came home to find no cheese or wing, sauces for 1 meal.
Didn't look too busy so don't know how they messed that order up.
Looked unclean with sticky table tops - food specs on floor - regular cleaning wouldn't go amiss.
A little more concentration on service would make this alot better.
Other branches I think are alot better.
One of the worst and only cheap Spice Hut next to East End Islamic Centre mosque.
First of all I have been coming here for over 2 and a half years they are so stingy with there sauces you have to ask repeatedly ask for sauces such as chilly sauce which they hide them under the counter if I am placing a order in person for 6 boxes of food I am also expecting 6 sauces along with the others ketchup and mayo. These Bengali owned people are so tight I am Bengali myself the kifta behaviour I have seen aka stingy is another level you have to even ask for tissues and cutlery or you ain't getting any unbelievable!
Lets start on the size of the portions what are these people on? you take it home for the family and when you open the boxes doesn't even fill your plate you just about get a decent sized burger that's about it and 10 piece of tiny chips and hella small wings and the mix Donner and chips is like 1 spoonful mixed together I ain't going to stand for this no one is. I can understand the cost of living but we are all working if I am not getting what I am paying for then I am going to have a problem.
Anyone reading this you are better off going to the other Spice Hut on Plashet Grove next to Chaii Wala they are a lot better in terms of you get what you are paying for!!!
This Spice Hut on Plashet Road needs to shut down first they were the only place to offer cheap prices out of everyone reason why I understood the portion size but now you taken up the prices same as everyone now and yet the portions are small to the max you guys need to go.
I have seen other reviews I was laughing and it's true they treat there sauces like gold hahaha I can say that is so true along with the tissues and cutlery.
Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
Usually depending on chef the Biriyani is ok. Today my Biriyani was ooozing with oil. Just look at the attached photo, the container is testament to the oil. Unfortunately due to the oil my biriyani was tasteless, it was so oily the rice was sticky. Then to add insult to injury I notice grey stale pieces of lettuce was added to my salad. Again if you look at the photo with the salad you will notice the grey pieces.
Finally when I asked for two wings I was asked to pay £1. So 4 tiny wings would have cost me £2. Yes I understand prices have gone up but you cannot seriously charge 50p for 1 poxy tiny fried chicken wing! I actually laughed out loud and said no to the wings. Other Spice Hut franchises charge 50p for two wings which is reasonable but this establishment on Plashet Road decide to charge double!
Good food, very fast service but a little messy and tables are very sticky! ( have revisited and found the place to be alot more cleaner than my initial visit and the table this time round looked spotless. I have bumped it up by 2 stars!! Keep it up! ????????
For your local pfc, does the job, service IS not only good but welcoming which you don't really see in pfcs, the food ain't really stand out and not as spicy as it used to be. Lamb donner did miss but chicken donner was OK.
The food was so bad. The wings and chips had no flavour. The service was so bad and slow. At the end when I tried to wash my hands, the hand wash had water mixed in it.
Naga lamb donor is the best
Even the naga wings deal
All the food there is absolutely delicious
My fave is defo the lamb donor meal
Would recommend to anyone who wants a fast food takeout
