Great bakery! Lovely fresh bread, pancakes etc, cakes, buns, & biscuits. All amazing! And the real gem for me is the sausage rolls. Some of the best in the country. Definitely worth stopping by.
Absolutely the best stew ever, the flavour and ingredients have never changed in 30 years.. You just can't improve on 100% perfection!! Top quality bakery!
Got 12 sausage rolls and I had a couple there and they are unreal.
Baker 2 years running has made my sons octonauts birthday cake. The detail has been amazing and my son blown away. The cake itself is moist and light and ever so tasty! Guaranteed good tasty quality every time.
Great wee home bakery. We were only in NI for the day but able to order our favourites ahead of time for collection. Always like to get baked goods here when we visit NI. My mum taught Tom Spence to bake so the business holds an affectionate place for me.
Best bakery in the country , every morning I get myself and wife our Breakfast and sometimes pick up a pie for dinner . Best quality ????
Have shopped at this bakery for about 40 years' but no more. Last week I was second in queue when shutter went up, the lady in front of me got 5 muffins and when I asked for two, was told sorry there were no more available as they had a big order. Had the order been made the previous day, I'm sure they would have baked extra, so can only assume the order came in that morning by phone. Accepting such an order at the expense of regular customers says all I need to know.
This morning, I was first in the queue when shutters went up, and though only wanting 3 muffins and two coconut fingers was hit with the same story, sorry but no coconut fingers are available because of order.
I think you have your priorities all wrong, business appears to be more important than customer service, and as such, I'll not be returning.
I'm sure I'm not the only customer so disappointed with your level of service, and hope this persuades others to speak up.
I love this bakery. The staff are friendly, helpful n good craic. They make the best sponge cake in lisburn. U can either buy undecorated squares to do yourself or u can order a decorated sponge (or rich fruit) for birthday, anniversary, christening, wedding....etc. they have a hot counter for sausage rolls, pasties n pies, as well as sarnies n rolls.
I love their sultana slab cakes n my sons love their decorated sponge squares (victoria, jam n coconut, buttercream n sprinkles.....etc. )
Do I reccomend Spences bakery on the Longstone?...... YES. If I could give it more stars I would. Go there n see/try for yourselves ????????
