I've just got off the phone enquiring about a fault n i believe it is gearbox oil. The bloke said he'd plug it in before anything no point wasting my money. Took the time explain about the box. I'm going to be taking car there if decide to have it looked @.
Extremely helpful individual, visited a few times in relation to my gearbox issue and even though he was unable to fix my car due to his backlog, nevertheless he tested my car, advised on exactly what needed to be done and gave me the confidence to go elsewhere to get the job complete as I was unable to wait several weeks.
I returned thereafter and he test drived my car to confirm all is well... all for free, what a nice gentleman.
I used this Garage to repair my car transmission, car was left with them for 3 months and ended paying over £2000 with the fault not repaired. AVOID at all costs. This garage should not be operating with unqualified technicians claiming to be transmission specialists. No warranties provided with any jobs they do and they never fix your fault.
Dave is a great guy with impeccable communication ,my Volvo XC70 had a noisy rear diff which was sorted out in the time quoted ,it came back back quieter than it was when I bought it and clean ,if all garages were this good ,car maintenance wouldn’t be the minefield it can be ,highly recommended, thanks Dave.
AVOID! My car doesn't drive at all now! I took my car in with a faulty gearbox. A month of them messing around with it "fixing it" while I paid for parts that they've apparently replaced. I can't believe there are so many good reviews when they clearly don't know how to fix gearboxes. Typical self-renouned "specialists"!
Thank you for your service. He quoted a price but when I picked the car up it was lower than he quoted as he managed to find a part cheaper. Who is this honest today. The guy fixed my L200 drive issue at a competitive price
