First time visiting Southgate Fish & Chips, and I am very impressed! Service was a little slow because everything was prepared in front of you. No where to sit in and eat, takeaway only.

Although slow, the service was good, a warm welcome and a kind goodbye.

£19.20 for two small cod & chips - not a bad price. Very good size cod and just the right amount of chips. The chips are similar to wedges, but they're delicious!

I'd definitely return - a great little gem in Crawley

Absolutely superb. From the genuinely friendly & polite welcome, the care taken to cook fish to order and even packing the food carefully, you couldn't ask for more. The freshness and quality of all products is 10/10, excellent value for money. I would rate these guys #1 in the area without a doubt.

Really nice quality fish and chips but very small portions. Staff were happy to provide more when I went back but explained their sizing process 20 chips is considered a regular size. So would recommend getting large chips

The fish and chips are delicious and fresh .... very good and cordial staff as well .... they serve fish and chips in small regular and large portions ... also some other lite Bite options available.... they serve fresh and fry in front of you .. it's tasty .... only thing is they don’t accept credit and debit cards so keep handy cash if you want to enjoy the fish here

Delicious and cooked to perfection and reasonably priced

Nice fish and chips. Friendly Hong Kong Chinese owners. Easy parking right outside on the Brighton Road if you are just there for 10 minutes or so. They also sell very rare fried Mars bars! They are surprisingly tasty. It is traditional Scottish food and why they die young from heart attacks, but I am sure from time to time is fine.

Finally found a chip shop in Crawley that ticks most of my boxes
