Great fish and chips. All fresh and tasty. The place is a bit old-fashioned, and they focus on quality rather than trying to be trendy.
My father visited recently and fancied fish and chips. He said it was like stepping back in time to the 1960s. Owner was polite and chatty, food was great and well priced. With the added story of going to a proper “traditional” fish and chip shop.
the BEST chippy I’ve ever been to & i now will only go here. lovely lovely couple and the food was absolutely gorgeous. It was like stepping back in time walking in and I LOVED IT. Divine food, divine service 10/10
This place is the quintessential Chippy. Watching your meal being made fresh in front of you is special. The fish and chips were perfect. So good.
Lovely staff, man behind the counter was very friendly and we had a lovely conversation, chips were also great and will definitely be going back soon. If you’re nearby definitely pay a visit
I don't know what happened but after looking up the reviews I would have been happy to try this takeaway 18 to 20 march 24 but it was closed and no sign saying if they were going to open at any time we were on holiday short break so disappointed ????
Chips were a little soggy but the owners were lovely. Great value for money and portion size. A little historical gem.
Fantastic, fresh, cooked to order chips. A real time warp chippy when you step inside, great value, and lovely people - feels so wholesome. A great little gem!
