The harbour was closed at the time of our visit due to maintenace issues but there are still fantastic photos of the bridges and Queensferry to be had
Love it here as a real holiday atmosphere especially when sunny. There are boat trips to an island with an old prison and to North Queensferry. The village has a few places to eat including chip shops and 2/3 gift shops. Not the best for parking.
The harbour has spectacular views of both the Old and New bridges. We have been here many times and still enjoy a trip here.
Majestic and scenic views.Tranquility
Really lovely views from here and great boat tours available by family run business that take you to an island with the best kept monestary in Scotland and give you the history of the bridges. Really lovely half day trip to do alone or with family/ friends.
Stunning walk along the sea front. Beautiful little village. Fresh air and amazing views.
First time ever been here. On a recce for future photography exploits.
Nice wee toon with lots of pubs and eateries to choose from.
Some real history to the place as well. I loved the look of the houses at East terrace.
Will take the boat trip to inchcolm next time. Also keen to take a trip across the rail bridge.
Enough interest to spend a day north & south to discover the history of the bridges.
Nearby Hopetoun house would also be worth a visit.
Great vibes, beautiful scenery, places to while away a few hours on holiday. Ice cream parlours, boutiques and walks.
Lovely place to visit. Plenty of seats and nice and quiet
