Owners are really welcoming and friendly, and the food is as good as it gets. Had both the jerk chicken with gravy as well as the curry goat which was unreal. Good music and enjoyable dining area too. Even offer side servings of vegetables.

What a fantastic find this restaurant is. A bit out of the way from the seafront, but the food holds it own. Fantastic friendly service, authentic Caribbean food, and WOW, the homemade sauce is to die for. If you don't fancy eating out, then definitely take away. 5 *****

Really lovely food. Curry goat was delicious and the patties were 10/10. Really good portion sizes too. Such lovely staff, really helpful. Will deffo be coming back!

Absolutely amazing, food is 10/10 and so is the service, thank you so much, we will deffo be back soon….. every dish we got was so nice, tender meat in curried goat…… rice and peas were sooo nice.

Had a great meal in Soul Food, the curry goat was delicious, tried a pattie which was great and also Guiness punch which was surprisingly good. Lena and her son Michael gave great service and very friendly. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I only marked down slightly on atmosphere as it’s a cafe and not a restaurant but I’m sure in time it will be. Thanks guys.????

Popped in with my mum for early supper as our train was delayed and delighted by the many veggie options. Portion sizes were big, we took some home. Mac and cheese was particularly yum ???? lovely welcoming staff and a great addition to Clacton, highly recommended!

Wow! Where do I start!

Had abit of complications with my order due to it being from justeat! The man helped me so much with the phone call and all! Was great service.

Unfortunately it was abit to spicy for me

(Don’t hate me, was my first time trying Jamaican food)

My husband was amazed with how good the food was, he ate the whole thing and he said it brings back happy memories when he was younger!

Will be ordering this again 100%

I like my food hot & tasty. This place met both criteria.
