Good chippy, quick service, the fish is a tad oily for my taste but Im comparing it to high end pubs. It is by far the best I’ve ordered from a chippy in Reading. Would definitely order again in the future

Lovely fish and chips just the right crispness without drying out the fish.
Chips were good, that's about it! Everything else looked and tasted like it had been there for about a week! Haven't used this place in years and wanted to try it out again - big mistake! The food has given me and my daughter really bad stomach cramps. Won't be back.
Best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Be prepared to queue and keep in mind it shuts early ~8:30
Until very recently I have given this place a 5-star review. Unfortunately the last 2 times I have visited the food hasn't tasted very nice. I think it may be the oil they are frying the food in but cant be sure. The Food is cooked properly just the taste is off. For the time being use somewhere else.
Best chip chop there is. The fish is always perfect, cooked enough to flake apart when you eat it, but not fall apart while you're taking it home. The chips are always perfect too, not over/ undercooked. There is a nice selection of different fish and the saveloy and sausage options are pretty good too.
We've only ever had one "meh" round of chips from them (and probably go there 1 or 2 times a month).
