Best KPortal Reviews

I absolutely ADORE solskinn. It’s my go to place to do work or just have a coffee and the staff are so nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming and I literally take everyone here who comes to visit Falmouth! I’ve probably been here at least once a week after discovering it, and they never disappoint every time. The only thing I’d say I’m confused about is the matcha, it has quite a weird flavour and is really sweet, but other than that everything else is fab and they have the best coffee in town! Highly recommend. (Also worth checking out their laptop policy on their Instagram before going to do some work)
These guys are genuinely incredible. Best espresso Martini in Falmouth and contender for best in Cornwall! We only had time for one drink, so glad we stumbled upon this place. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Such a great place nestled in the middle of Falmouth above The Poly. The interior is beautiful and they serve the best coffee, cocktails, brunch and cakes. Their oat flat white is incredible and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I highly recommend. What a unique space in a lovely town.
Would highly recommend popping in to experience Solskinn. The staff are so welcoming and I love the fresh and light vibes. We hosted a babyshower here, it offered the perfect combination of pastries, hot drinks, cocktails and mocktails.
Don't miss out...go see what it's about!
Popped in here to try their coffee and ended up having a Grilled cheese sandwich as well, both of which were lovely. The space in the cafe is really nice and relaxed with a Japanese/Scandinavian feel.
To top it all off its dog friendly.
The best coffee I could find in Falmouth!
A small, almost hidden away gem on the second floor of the Solskinn offers some brilliant coffee at very good prices.
We walked in literally as the guy was opening the place up at 10am. He was cheerful & welcoming towards us as he continued to get ready for the day ahead.
The first room is very well decorated & bright with the big windows & high ceilings. We ventured to be nosey in the second bigger room & I was impressed at how much more space there was. It would be a perfect location to sit & drink a coffee whilst studying/reading/meeting others.
I did not have the chance to try the food so cannot say how good everything here is. But the coffee was worth the trip & the money.
Also, the small Huskee cups used to serve are very cool & a niche addition to make the experience more welcoming & heartly.
I’ve been in here twice now and I love the building itself and the coffees/cakes. However, I’m now considering not going back purely for the fact that twice now I’ve been served by a really blunt and unfriendly member of staff.
To ask normal questions about “Hey which cake do you recommend?” And be met with “I dunno.” With a totally monotone and blank expression makes you feel like you’re not welcome. Equally we were here with two friends and I noticed this member of staff huffing and puffing about us chatting. We were literally the only 4 people there and were made to feel super unwelcome which sucked as I’d recommended it to our friends too.
If you at in Falmouth take the time to pop in to Solskinn at the Poly for so many food and drink delights. Positioned conveniently in Church Street, pop upstairs and you will immediately feel relaxed and engaged with the vibe. The owners are really dedicated to serving you the best coffee, cocktails, brunch and cakes. My favourite was the oat flat white, there again the hot chocolate was pretty awesome. Anyway, take the time to visit Solskinn and you will be pleasantly surprised with this Cornish Gem.
