We decided to visit this establishment for the first time today with it opening recently and us living locally. It was amazing.
We've never had Jerk Chicken as good as this in the UK before.
The portions are large.
We spent £46 for 1x 1/2 Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, 1x 1/4 Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, 1x Slaw & 2x large white wines.
Will be coming back again soon for sure.
Came here and had a feast - We tried lots of different dishes including jerk chicken, mutton curry, plantain, mac and cheese, honey bbq wings and their homemade sauces and slaw and it was all 10/10. Everything was full of flavour and you could taste each individual ingredient and the food was all really fresh. Definitely recommend and will definitely come back.
Delicious and great portions, quick service. We got the curried goat, quarter jerk chicken and fried wings and couldn’t finish as the portions were so big. One of the best Caribbean I’ve had.
Incredible food, we had the salmon, the chicken and mutton and all of it was delicious. Easily the best Caribbean food around, nothing even comes close. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, great staff and we will definitely be back.
Had a lovely evening at Soca shack. Jerk was to die for and everyone was super friendly. Loved hearing more about the family run business and the love and care that goes into the food. Great vibes and a must visit for anyone in the southampton area and beyond, looking for some proper comfort food ???? can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Soca Shack, a delightful Caribbean restaurant. From the moment I stepped inside the atmosphere was vibrant and truly captured the essence of the Caribbean.
I had the pleasure of trying their rich & creamy Mac and Cheese, well-made Rice and Peas, and flavorful & perfectly seasoned Jerk Chicken. The portions were incredibly generous that I had to take some home, and the flavors were still fantastic the next day.
One of the things that impressed me the most was the quick service. Despite the restaurant being busy, my food arrived promptly, and it was evident that everything was made fresh to order. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Whether you're a fan of Caribbean cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. Soca Shack has earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants.
